I have tried dry shampoo in the past but not the Dove brand. I like to flat iron my hair and not wash my hair for a few days so I can keep my flat ironed style. On the days I don't wash my hair, I use a dry shampoo to prevent my hair from looking oily and greasy.

This dry shampoo sprays easily from the can and is quite powerful. I did find that if I sprayed too close to my hair that I end up with a white residue ( I have dark blonde hair). I guess that happened to me as my sister told me parts of my hair looked white! So spraying a distance from the hair will prevent the white residue.

The dry shampoo kept my hair feeling fresh and clean and helped to prevent any greasy look. I did find that where I sprayed the dry shampoo that my hair felt a little dry and “crunchy” and it was not soft and smooth like the rest of my hair. Despite this fact I would still recommend this dry shampoo for in between washes. I would also purchase it in the future as Dove is an affordable brand and even more so when it comes on sale.

This is the best dry shampoo I have ever used. Normally I have to wash my hair every other day, on day 2 I tired this product and it removed all the oil. I have tried every dry shampoo on the market and this works the best. The only thing I didn't like was the smell.

I am a super busy mom and often I am looking for a quick and easy way to help me get out the door. I thoguht I would try this dry shampoo.

I used it and tried it 2 times.I found that both times it had a strong scent and that it left your scalp very dry and lamost like therre was a residue on your scalp. I followed the direction to a T and it was still not very good. I would not use this again as it is.Maybe if there was not so much fragrance it may not be as drying.

I tried this dry shampoo through the Chick Advisor Product Review Club. I was very excited to try a dry shampoo, up until now I'd only used corn starch, but I've had friends talk about dry shampoos with zeal.

The first time I tried this product I used it incorrectly and it did not work! Just know that there is a learning curve here. The instructions say spray 20-25cm away from hair, and they mean it! And less is more! The second time around I parted my hair in just a few places and sprayed in short blasts just a couple of times per part, making sure to hold the can at least 20cm away from my head. Then I rubbed the product around and brushed out. That did the trick.

Did I have luscious, freshly-washed hair? No. But I was able to get on with my day without feeling self conscious of my in-need-of-a-wash hair. I typically wash my hair only 3 times a week, but once in a while my hair misbehaves (ok, I misbehave, I need to not touch my hair!) and gets a little slicker a little quicker, and this dry shampoo seems to help keep my hair looking good.

I do wish the scent was less, or even non-existent, but it didn't bother me as the day went on. Did it do a better job than cornstarch? I think cornstarch does a better job on greasy hair, but this dry shampoo is far less messy overall. I'm a little concerned with the warnings about how flammable the product is, however.

I was excited to try Dove's Refresh+Care Invigorating Dry Shampoo. As a busy mom I sometimes like a short cut in the busy mornings getting ready for school/work. It smelled great! It worked very well, it gave my hair a a little boost! The grease disappeared and I was ready for the day! I will recommend to family and friends!

I've never had luck with a dry shampoo. My hair is just passed my shoulders, and wavy so when I wake up, it's like I slept standing on my head. Dry shampoo unfortunately can't help me. I do use it during the day when my hair looks and feels limp and lifeless and it does a decent job and reviving it. It is super heavily scented though, which I usually don't have an issue with, however since this is sprayed basically in my face, it irritates my nose and throat. There's also a mist of super fine powder that flies around and can get in your eyes if you're not careul. I'll finish the can, but I don't think it's something I'll buy again.

Since I discovered dry shampoo I have started cutting back on shampooing my hair. I have chin length, thin hair and if I don't wash it daily it looks oily and falls super flat. Thanks to dry shampoo I can skip some washings and not feel self conscious about my hair. Yay!

Unfortunately I have dark brown hair and most dry shampoos leave too much white residue. I didn't expect this one to be any different but I was surprised! I'm not saying that it doesn't leave behind any residue (it does) however this particular one is way easier to blend in and comb out than others I've tried.

What I really appreciate about this dry shampoo is how long it lasts. When I use it in the morning it keeps the oil and limpness at bay for the whole day whereas many others I've tried only last a few hours. I also like the scent, it's light and doesn't linger for too long.

Of the products I had received from the Dove line, this was my favorite. I am a huge fan of dry shampoo and I had not previously tried this one. It has a typical application, and gives your hair a refreshed feeling. I have dark hair and found that this product does not leave any white residue which is my biggest pet peeve regarding dry shampoos. I was very happy with the size of product but was surprised to learn that it was $10 which seems like a lot for a drug store brand. I am undecided on if I would actually buy it again because there are so many really great similar products however if I am in the drug store and in need of a dry shampoo I know that Dove is a quality product. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a dry shampoo.

I have never used a dry shampoo before. This was quite new to me! I received this product free for testing so I really wanted to give it a good go. I wanted to give it a really good chance. I usually wash my hair everyday but I dont like washing it every day it can become too much for my hair. I started using it the next morning and my first impression was the smell it smelled great. I wasn't sure at first how to really used it so I tried using it for two days in a row at first to see if it would hold up. It did fairly well. It took some getting used to how much to use and where and how far to hold the bottle. I think dry shampoos are a great invention and dove has done a pretty good job with this product. I would not go further than a couple days depending on this dry shampoo . By day three I needed to wash my hair. I found that I could not use the dove dry oil during the time I was using the dry shampoo as my hair got oily too fast. I really like this product. I found during my off days of my traditional shampooing and using this dry shampoo my hair stay pretty manageable.
