This product works amazing on my hair. It's not expensive, great for bad hair days. Does the job!
This is the only dry shampoo I use! I've tried a ton of other ones, but this one definitely stands out above the rest!
Things I love about it:
The small (Mmmmmm!)
Adds amazing body to my hair.
Does not turn my hair white
does not weigh my hair down
The freshness lasts all day
Things I do not like:
Sometimes I'll go back to a store that previously carried it, but then they don't have it when I return.
This product was pricey and found it made my hair greasier then it already was. It did not work great and I was better off just to use baby powder.
I color my hair a lot so I want to keep it as bright as possible for as long as I can. I don't wash my hair often so I have come to rely heavily on dry shampoos and I have tried a few different brands and this is my favorite.
I am quite sensitive when it comes to scent and Dove dry shampoo is very light and pleasant, not overpowering or perfumy. It does what it's supposed to, leaves my hair looking fresh all day without leaving a lot of residue. I use it between shampoos, which for me is every 5-7 days ( the less you wash your hair, the less you need to) so I don't want a product leaving a lot of gross build up on my scalp.
It really is, in my opinion, one of the better (lower priced) dry shampoos. Regular price can be about 8$ but I almost always find it on sale. Target often puts it on sale at 2.99$, I have seen it at this price at Shoppers and WalMart as well. Great product, definitely worth it.
Very good. it is the first dry shampoo I Ever used so I cannot really compare but it is very good. Does a great job.
I used to purchase my dry shampoo products from beauty supply warehouses before discovering this product. Very reasonably priced, and does not leave any white residue behind on my dark hair. Would recommend this product to anybody looking for a quick fix to greasy roots between showers.
I have dark brown hair and this dry shampoo leaves minimal white residue. The smell is not over powering and the can is actually larger than most dry shampoos. It does not leave a gritty texture to you hair, it just cleans and refreshes. Regular price is about $8 at Rexall & Shoppers Drugmart in Canada but I have been able to find it on sale for between $3.49-$4.49 everytime I have run out. I think that if I was unable to find it on sale, I would still buy it because it works great!
Dove's invigorating dry shampoo worked super well for me. First, the clean and fresh smell was nice, as well as the fact that my hair didn't become all white like when I tried other dry shampoos (think TresEmme). My hair did take a little gray shade but it lasted for about 5 minutes before completely disappearing.
It left my hair without the greasy feeling ALL-DAY-LONG.
I liked the fact about it that it is very light weighted, and doesn't let the hair dry and dull. It lets your hair shine but without looking oily or greasy. It is also very cheap compared to its competitors prices.
It's a pretty good Dry Shampoo, but it doesn't really make my hair feel as clean as I would hope. On the bright side it smells WONDERFUL!
Ok, so first I want to say that I am a fan of dry shampoo. I have fine hair that needs to be washed everyday for it to not look greasy and that's where dry shampoo comes in as a life/time saver.
Now here's my dilemma with the Dove dry shampoo. It works. The price is comparable if not cheaper than other brands, the smell is not offensive.
So why not a better rating? I bought this product, used it once, had great results. then a week or two later I picked up the can to use it again and noticed it felt very light. I shook it anyway and went to spray and nothing. Nothing came out. Nothing at all.
I know I did not over use the product, (the Tresemme brand I had tried before was a smaller can and lasted me for months) it would be nearly impossible to use the entire can in one use. When I bought the can it felt full. I live alone so no one else is sneaking the product. So what happened??? All I can figure is that since it was summer and the temperature was hotter than normal, the product (or the alcohol in it) evaporated.
So for the fact that I got one minimal use out of the can I will not be buying this brand of dry shampoo again.
Just an additional note, corn starch that you use in the kitchen works the same way as dry shampoo but it an be messier to apply.
