I really liked this dry shampoo.
It went on easily, smelt nice and didn't leave a residue on my hair.
I usually use it before bed; so I'm not sure if it adds much volume; but I'm happy with it!

So I don't always have time to wash my hair, so when I don't, I use the Dove Volume Dry Shampoo. Just a little bit of that and my hair looks and feels great between washes! It saves me so much time too! Just spray it on, rub in, and brush out, and voila! Fresh and clean hair!!

I'll start by saying that it smells really good, but I just didn't see a difference with any of the other dry shampoos out there. I didn't notice any particular difference with the volume of my hair either.

APPLICATION: I've tried a few different dry shampoos and my main complaint is that they leave a visible haze in my brownish-black hair. I was excited to try Dove's new dry shampoo, hoping for a different result. My hair did look a shade lighter, but the product blended okay considering that I used quite a bit on my three-day-dirty hair. I didn't get an uneven cloudy appearance, but I did have to work at it a bit. I massaged it in with my fingertips and rubbed my scalp with my palms, then (reluctantly) used my paddle brush to work it out from the roots. It did leave residue on my brush :(

DELIVERY: It sprays evenly - one brand I tried in the past spray inconsistently, alternating puffs of air with puffs of powder. It comes out pretty heavy, so make sure to hold it a good 20-30cm away from the scalp, as directed. But the spray was pretty well-dispersed, so that helps the blending.

EFFECTIVENESS: As far as effectiveness, I was pleased with the results. My hair looked cleaner, for sure, throughout the day I applied it as well as through the next day. I didn't have time to test this product for it's styling aid properties, but judging by my bedhead on the second day, I think it would work pretty well for teasing and such. My hair was definitely less shiny than it normally is, but it didn't completely kill the glare.

CLEAN UP: Lastly, whenever I use spray-in hair products, I dread the film that can deposit itself on every surface below my neck. I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't see a lot of this dry shampoo on my vanity/toothbrush/faucet/cabinets/toilet/floor/etc. However, I felt like I *had* to wash my face after application, so I recommend doing your hair before your makeup if you're using this dry shampoo.

OTHER NOTES: Okay so here's one thing I did notice about this dry shampoo... and it's not great news. I have one grey hair. It's just above my left temple, about 2cm back from my hairline, and I feel like it's not always that visible (unless I part my hair there by mistake). But the Dove dry shampoo really seemed to accentuate it! I could see it right away and it haunted me for two days!
This product is lightly perfumed. I didn't find the fragrance offensive, but I didn't think it added anything spectacular. It wouldn't be my first choice if I could choose a scent for my hair.

LAST WORD: If it comes in a shade for dark hair, I would definitely buy that in the future.

My hair is eternally thin and I'm always looking for a good boost without having to wash, dry, and style my hair everyday. I have used other dry shampoos that really help with volume but unfortunately Dove didn't measure up for me. I would probably purchase again just because it worked well as a dry shampoo.

I admit that I am a dry shampoo fiend. I think it's probably the greatest beauty invention of all time. I have very straight, fine (aka often limp, tangly and greasy) hair so I have tried so many different dry shampoo brands to combat my natural state.
This dry shampoo was up there with some of the best. It sprayed on easily and didn't leave any white chalky residue like other brands (which as a brunette is a big concern for me). My hair instantly appeared less greasy after 12 hours unwashed and was way more volumized. Bonus - the effect lasted until the next morning. The product comes in a huge spray can- larger than most dry shampoos - so the amount for the cost is great. It will last for a long time!
My only drawback would have to be the scent. Usually dove products have nice fresh clean smells but for some reason this dry shampoo smells really fruity (to me almost like rotten fruit at times). It's not overpowering but if you don't like fruity scents then other dry shampoos may be a better choice. I'll keep using it as it's not a super strong smell, but I would prefer a different scent.

So I have tried this a few times now and I find that this product is great between washes. It livens up my hair and takes the dullness away. It also leaves my hair smelling freshly washed. I would recommend this product to ladies. It totally works.

I am one of the laziest person you can meet and thus a dry shampoo is a godsend. I spray it on, brush up and am good to go. You couldnt even tell that I didnt actually wash my hair. I love the nice scent and the easy spray function. This isnt my first dove dry shampoo and wont be my last. Love this product! I got this free to review from chickadvisor

The moment I received this I was excited - 1 because I love dry shampoos, and I'm always trying to find "the" perfect one, and 2 because it was close to bedtime and I was tired, and this gave me a great reason to skip my shower. #dirtyhairdontcare
I have medium darker hair, and so trying new dry shampoos is always a gamble. And this one paid off (thankfully, it was a workday morning lol). There really was no residue! And it did help with the volume (read: fine flat hair that rivals a penny on a train track).
But I couldn't go more than 2 days not washing - it just didn't agree with very dirty hair.

J'ai eu ce shampoing sec gratuitement grâce au Review Club. Tout d'abord, j'A-DO-RE l'odeur! Un peu floral, reste dans les cheveux sans être trop présente.
Question volume, ce shampoing sec Dove accomplit sa mission, surtout lorsque utilisé comme indiqué sur la bouteille.
Par contre au niveau de l’absorption du surplus d'huile dans mes cheveux, ce n'est pas le plus efficace. Je le recommanderais d'avantage pour les cheveux normaux en manque de volume et non pas au cheveux gras.
