As part of the chick advisor product review team, I had the opportunity to try Dove's Volumizing Dry Shampoo. I have thin hair that gets oily quick and I usually have to wash my hair daily to avoid the greasy look. For this reason, I'm always on the lookout for a product that will let me get away without washing my hair. To use this product, I applied it to my hair before bed and brushed it out in the morning before styling. My hair was left feeling full and oily free! This is definitely one of the better dry shampoos I've used. I just wish it came tinted for different hair colours.

This isn't the best dry shampoo I've tried but it is good. It smells great and gives my hair volume. I would recommend that this only be used as a second day hair dry shampoo because if its third or fourth day when your hair is quite oily, it's not going to absorb well. I compare this one to my favourite dry shampoo Batiste XXL volume. I probably won't purchase this in the future because for someone who's too busy to wash and blow dry my hair more than once or twice a week I need a good dry shampoo thats going to soak up all the oils in my hair. I do like using this one throughout the day though if my hair ever gets a little flat or oily.

This dry shampoo does work but I do like other brands a bit better. It has quite a florally smell which I am not the biggest fan of. I am more of a fresh smelling girl. The shampoo doesn't leave too much of a white cast which is good. It does take away the oils but I feel like my oiliness does come back quite quick throughout the day so it didn't keep the oils away unfortunately. I think it would be great to just use to give the hair some texture and volume.

I do recommend this shampoo if you don't mind the floral smells. Its not the best dry shampoo out there but its not bad for the price.

So excited because I use dry shampoo routinely.
And... I always need help in the volume department. Dry shampoo is the best product ever for those gym goers who like to shower at home! I can't imagine being without it now haha.

First impression was that the product has a light smell. Which is nice because I work in a
hospital. I am not suppose to wear any fragrances to work.
I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered that the product has no color to it. Other brands
tend to show up in my hair and require some extra work to blend it in. Sooo... bonus!!!

I did find that the dry shampoo left my hair feeling fresh. However, it didn't give me the added volume
that I was hoping for. Not all that surprised though, my hair is super thin and nothing seems to
help on that front. It doesn't leave the chalky powdery film on my hair like some of the other brands
I have tried. But, I think that "film" is what gives that extra hold when it comes to styling.

I have yet to decide what I need from my dry shampoo. Of course, the main thing is feeling/looking
fresh. But if it can double as a styling product that makes it more desirable to me. I am all about
keeping it simple in the morning. If that means I have one less bottle of product under my sink I am
a happy camper.

I have tried a lot of dry shampoo's as I have blonde colored hair and my hair is thick so washing everyday is not something I have time for and it kills the colour so dry shampoos are my friend. What I love about this dry shampoo is that it has a great smell and it last in your hair. I found it absorbed some not all the oil in my hair but it did a great job of adding volume when my hair was limp due to the fact that I had not washed it after 3 days of working and running. Would I recommend this dry shampoo definelty yes but again wait until it goes on sale like the regular dove dry shampoo for 3.99 then it is definelty worth the price and yes I will be purchasing a can myself.

I was really excited to get this product in the mail. I used it the day I got it lol. It smells amazing and doesn't leave you hair sticky nor does it feel like you have a lot of product in. Over all I would say that I will purchase this again because I really did like the way it felt in my hair.

I have received the product in the mail but the plastic cover was broken. I followed the instructions on the bottle and sprayed it on my hair with 20cm to 30 cm apart from my hair. The smell is good. It left a bit of white residue on my hair but I comb through my hair a few times, it were gone.

But I found that a couple of spray won't do the job to remove the oil/greasy on my hair. I need to repeat the steps (i.e., spray and comb) a few times in order to get it work out great. For volume, I don't quite see it happen on my hair though.

In general, it works as a dry shampoo but I don't quite see the result of volume effect appear on me. Overall, given the price of this product, I think it is great to have it handy when you don't have time to wash your hand and you really want to look nice to go out.

I guess I would recommend Dove to my friends if they need to buy a dry shampoo.

I've tried a few different dry shampoos. It's no Batiste, but it is one of the better options out there. Using it while my curly hair is straight gets me an extra day of use.

I received the Dove Refresh + Care Volume Dry Shampoo from Chick Advisor #gotitfree. I have oily hair so I use dry shampoos on days I don''t wash my hair. I used this dry shampoo both as directed and as I usually do.
Directions for use: Separate your dry hair into sections. Shake the dry shampoo spray can vigorously; hold it about 20 to 30 cm from the head and spray directly into the roots of your hair in short bursts. Leave in for a couple of minutes, then turn your head upside down and brush out all of the powder before turning your head upright again and styling as usual.
The after picture attached was taken after using the product as directed. I found that the dry shampoo did add some volume to my fine, limp hair. While it absorbed some of the oil at the roots, I have used other dry shampoos that absorb more of the oil. The scent was great and. while lightly scented, it lingered all day. I think this product would be better suited for people would less oily hair. I don't think I will repurchase.

I am a regular dry shampoo user. I'm blonde so I spend a significant amount of money getting my hair colored and by not washing my hair it stays much healthier and the color lasts longer. I normally use another brand of dry shampoo in the same price range as Dove and I was very disappointed by the Dove dry shampoo. I used it on my first not washing day and couldn't seem to use enough of it as the oil would not absorb. Normally by my second day my dry shampoo is even more effective and I may juse have to use a touch more. I had to put my hair up as it was far too oily to leave down. I will say it has a fantastic smell which is hard to find in a dry shampoo as they usually have a very chemical like smell. So the only positive of this product is that at least my greasy hair smells clean. Will never buy again.
