Overall I think that it did what it needed to do. I actually found it to be quite light compared to the others that I have used. I use hairspray every day in my hair and have found that most dry shampoos cling onto the old spray and create a thick film. Not the case at all with this one. Highly recommend and I will be using it again.

I wished i had this product when i gave birth to my son 10 months ago. It would have help a lot. My hair were looking great after i used it and the smell was great.

I received this product to try for free as part of the Chick Advisor Product Review Club. For background, I have (a LOT of) thick medium length hair that becomes oily really quickly so I typically need to wash my hair every day, otherwise it really shows. I have previously used a DIY dry shampoo with pantry items (powder form) to try to go a day between shampoos on weekends. One significant advantage of the Dove Refresh + Care Volume Dry Shampoo is that it is a spray format so much less messy than what I have previously used. However perhaps because of the spray format, I found that I wasn't able to get it through my hair and into my roots well enough for it to be effective at removing the oil or making my hair look better. I am encouraged seeing a lot of positive reviews so the lack of effectiveness I had may be due to my hair type. I have had a few hairdressers note that my hair is among the top 1% of their clients in terms of thickness and amount of hair - so if this doesn't sound anything like you, it may be worth you trying the product to see if it would work better for you.

I received this product free thanks to the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club in exchange for my review. I absolutely love this dry shampoo! I've only tried one other before this one and Dove is by far more superior. It doesn't have a strong scent, you don't need to spray a lot for it to effectively work. It gives your hair a fresh smell and looks clean. It does its job of removing oil to make your hair "appear" like you washed it. It works great for those in between days when you don't wash your hair. I highly recommend this product!

It does give a lot of volume but I didn't quite dig the fragrance too much. I guess I prefer a more citrus-y kind of smell for a dry shampoo. When it came to absorbing the oils...it worked well.

I love how this product is not sticky ..it dries really fast... it does not make ur hair crusty..this is the best dry shampoo i have tried so far..it smells very good does not have a chemical smell

I was given the Dove Refresh dry shampoo for free as part of a Chick Advisor testing. This dry shampoo did nothing for my hair at all. It added no volume, and by mid morning my hair felt oily again. I would definitely not buy this product.

Now to start this off, I received this product free to try from the Product Review Club.

I want to start off with saying, I have a very odd hair combo. I find shampoo does not work for me! It winds up being sticky in my hair and makes it look dirtier than it was before.

This, however, is pretty nice. It just takes light sprays to get it to distribute evenly. It dries subtly and feels nice. The smell is tolerable too. Which is rare for me!

I have tried so many dry shampoo's and have only been very happy with a few. Unfortunately, the Dove dry shampoo is not a favorite.

My hair is long and fine with greasy roots. I need to wash every day or use a good dry shampoo. I tried using the Dove dry shampoo in the morning and it worked a little....my hair didn't look quite as greasy as without the dry shampoo. A few hours later I checked my hair and it was very greasy looking. By the evening it was terrible.

I tried the Dove another morning and used a lot more than I did the first time. Same not good results.

Sometimes I put in dry shampoo before bed time and when I wake up my hair isn't greasy. I tried this with the Dove and woke up with greasy hair.

For my hair type, the Dove Refresh + Care Volume Dry Shampoo did not work. But it did have a great smell.

I got this product for free to review and give my honest opinions on. First off I am someone who needs to wash their hair every single day. I have very thin hair and it gets oily very fast. I have used other dry shampoos in the past so I did have an idea of what to expect. Just like other Dove products the scent is very nice and not too overpowering. I found this did not leave any white residue visible and gave a nice amount of volume. Because my hair type, like all other dry shampoos ive tried, I was not able to use it as an in between washes type of product but it gave me the perfect refresh to take me from day to evening. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a bit of a volume refresh throuout the day.
