I use dry shampoo for more than just a hair refresh. I have very thin hair, and the volumizing aspect of the Dove Dry Shampoo added an incredible lift and thickness to my roots when curling my hair to give a big and glamorous look.

When it comes to it's intended use, Dove Dry Shampoo did what it was supposed to. It soaked up oil and sweat post-workout and after being brushed through any powdery spray was mixed in with no trace left as evidence.

Dove Dry Shampoo is on the lower end of the price scale, and I would definitely recommend it to others.

I've only used the tresemme brand of dry shampoo so I was excited to have been selected to try the Dove dry shampoo for free through chickadvisor!

I preferred the smell of this product and the effectiveness better. I did find that after rubbing in the shampoo, it gave my hair some volume, almost felt like there was a bit of product, like the emulsifying powders for hair to give volume.

The white sometimes doesn't go away unless you wet your hair, despite following the instructions to rub the product in and brush your hair after a few minutes. I suggest that Dove offer coloured sprays so that it doesn't leave white spots. Other than that, no real complaints here.

I've used this product for the last week and have really enjoyed it and am happy that the card indicated it retails for $5.99. I did see some retailers selling it for higher but I wouldn't mind paying $5.99 (or less) for a product that I use several times a week.

I received the package #gotitfree just last week from Chick Advisor. I haven't had much luck with dry shampoos as i don't like the traces it leaves in my very black hair.
Here's my take on the Dove Dry Shampoo, It smells really fresh to start with, not too overpowering like my previous dry shampoos. I sprayed on the top part of head, the scalp, left it dry and work for a few minutes, then shaked my hair and used my fingers to work it through. It did not leave as much of the white traces as others but it still did. It did take the oil away as it's supposed to though. So overall i did like it and would recommend it others

My product just arrived two days ago so I was only able to test it yesterday. Dove Refresh and Care Volume Dry Shampoo smells so nice when on. After spraying on the roots I brushed out and then threw up in a pony tail. No one had any idea that my hair had not been washed as it certainly looked like it. My daughter tried this product also, as she slept in and was late for work. She really liked it, too! I will definitely buy this product in future!

I receives this product with Chickadvisor and I love it! It smells so so good! Unlike other dry shampoo this one doesn't make my hair white, sticky and dry. It blends really well in the hair, I highly recommand this dry shampoo!

I received this product to test from ChickAdvisor and was excited as I have been looking for for a new dry shampoo to add to my hair care regime. Firstly I quite enjoyed the smell of this product. It was not too strong and I found it more pleasant than other dry shampoos.

This product made good on its claims to absorb oil and add healthy volume. It made my hair refreshed and gave me a small amount of volume. My hair looked less oily and had a refreshed feeling.

I actually like this product compare to other dry shampoos I have tries in the past. It is affordable and makes good on its promises. I will definitely recommend this product to friends and will be purchasing it for myself in the future. #gotitfree

I didn't mind this dry shampoo. It smelled nice and got the job done. I always find that with dry shampoos my hair still looks greasy, with this it didn't happen! It's a pretty good price as well, probably something I would keep in my gym bag or locker.

The packaging was very clean-looking and pretty. I found the scent to be pleasing and not as strong smelling as another brand of dry shampoo (powder) I have tried in the past. I tested the product in three ways: overnight on unwashed hair, in the morning on unwashed hair, and also on clean hair for some added volume. I was pleased with the results on unwashed hair - it was not extremely wet upon initial application (as compared to one other aerosol formula I have used in the past), the product easily dispersed throughout my hair as it is a very fine mist, and it did not make my roots feel stiff. I honestly did not notice an increase in volume when I used the product on clean hair (perhaps someone with fine hair may notice more of a difference), so it works better for me as a refresher rather than a volumizer.

There's a reason you always hear people rave about that 'one' particular brand of Dry Shampoo and why it gets so much good press. The reason is that all the others seem to be subpar. Unfortunately, this dry shampoo by Dove fits into that category.

Ignoring everything else about this dry shampoo, it just doesn't do the job. It makes the surface hair slightly cleaner and weirdly straighter, but doesn't touch the roots, which remain oily and greasy looking. There isn't enough of an improvement that I'd feel comfortable going outside with my hair looking so greasy after using this.

The result is the same whether on extremely greasy, or hair with just a little, it doesn't really seem to make much difference, especially compared to successful dry shampoos I've tried.

Adding on to that, the smell is sweet and cloying and the texture of the shampoo seems to cling to every surface of your skin and actually left me feeling dirtier. Definitely not a product I enjoyed.
