Smells nice, but....

The product does smell nice which is why I give it 2 stars. As far as volume and taking away the oil, I would not recommend. If you're just wanting a fresh smell on your locks, nothing more, this is the product for you.

Just...BAD

I bought this dry shampoo on a whim when it was on sale & I have to admit, it really disappointed me (especially given how many good reviews it has). It did nothing for my hair. It smells unpleasant, the residue is clearly visible on my brunette hair, and it left my hair feeling very weird to the touch. I am a pretty regular user of dry shampoos, so I know how to work with them, and even with finessing it into my hair, this dry shampoo was tragically bad.

A big letdown

I was really excited to try the dove dry shampoo, it was a huge flop. The only thing i liked about it was the scent. I dont have overly greasy hair and I normally use dry shampoo on day two or three and I found this product did nothing for me.

I often use dry shampoo as a temporary fix in between washes. It usually leaves my hair feeling refreshed and not as oily feeling. This product I found left a sticky residue on my scalp that felt like hairspray. It made my hair feel like it had lots of product in it and it wasn't a lightweight feel. I was very disappointed as I do love the Dove line.

I receieved the Dove Refresh + Care Volume Dry Shampoo to review from Chock Advisor, but unfortunately did not meet my expectations.

Dry shampoo was a huge staple for me when I was in school. Used to go across the border to get them when they werent as accessible here. Knowing how it got me out of a bind many times, I always keep a few in my stash.

One of the biggest reasons that the Dove can did not meet my standards? It only lasted one use. The pressure seems to have undid it self or something. I shake the can and can hear things, but nothing seems to come out. And no, its not clogged, I checked.

In addition, the scent was way to heavy. It announces your presence before you even appear. I get that it has to mask chemicals and oils...but it was too much.

Despite that, if those two things didnt turn out the way they did, well, the product did well in trying to curb the hair oils. All without acting too much like a hair spray. But the fact that I got a defective can and the scent turns me away from wanting to try this brand of dry shampoo in the future.

I tried this dry shampoo and it didn't work on my hair. I found it didn't volumize and my hair still looked greasy if not more so. I would not recommend this product!

Je trouve que ce produit n'est pas vraiment efficace. J'avais l'impression qu'il laissait une couche cirée sur mes cheveux et qu'ils ne semblaient pas si propres. Je prefere celui que j'utilise habituellement....

Je ne trouve pas le produit très efficace en comparaison aux shampooings secs d'autres compagnies. Meme après en avoir utilisé beaucoup, je ne voyais pas beaucoup de différence sur l'aspect de mes cheveux.

I have tried so many dry shampoo's and have only been very happy with a few. Unfortunately, the Dove dry shampoo is not a favorite.

My hair is long and fine with greasy roots. I need to wash every day or use a good dry shampoo. I tried using the Dove dry shampoo in the morning and it worked a little....my hair didn't look quite as greasy as without the dry shampoo. A few hours later I checked my hair and it was very greasy looking. By the evening it was terrible.

I tried the Dove another morning and used a lot more than I did the first time. Same not good results.

Sometimes I put in dry shampoo before bed time and when I wake up my hair isn't greasy. I tried this with the Dove and woke up with greasy hair.

For my hair type, the Dove Refresh + Care Volume Dry Shampoo did not work. But it did have a great smell.

The smell of this product is great - as expected with highly artificial fragrances. The efficacy of this product is below standard. It makes my hair wirey, rough like straw and dull! I've never felt my hair so dry and ducked dry. It's the most awful feeling Iver ever experienced in hair care. #gotitfree #wouldntbuyit
