Middle of the road

I use dry shampoo EVERYDAY so I was very excited to be chosen to #trydovedryshampoo #forfree. I have used this product at all stages of “dirty hair” starting with 1 day after washing right up to 4days since washing . I found that although it smells amazing (and it really does smell great) I didn’t find that it soaked up a lot of the oil/grease in my hair, especially on day 3&4;. One thing I did like about this product is that it didn’t leave white residue in your hair as some other brands do . It’s a nice light pick me for the day after a wash and maybe for the second day but didn’t find it worked well enough for day 3&4;. The price point is nice not overly expensive and you do get a nice amount of product 142g is a pretty good value . I would recommend this product if your wanting a little something to freshen up your hair when your a day or two after washing but wouldn’t recommend it for super greasy/oily days. I myself do go a lot of days between shampoos and have fairly greasy hair even the day after so it’s important to me to have a dry shampoo that can soak up all the oil and I didn’t find this worked well for me on the later days, I do however enjoy the scent and do like to use it for that alone :) I also used this product on my 5 year old daughter (who has more hair than I do ) and I found it to work amazingly in her hair, it is gentle enough I was able to use it on her even a couple times a day when necessary for example after an afternoon sweating at the park in the summer heat I would use it before going out for dinner instead of having to wash her hair all over again . If I was to purchase this again it would be for her and not for myself .

I did get volume with this but i wasnt too impressed

I had use quite a bit of this Dove Dry Shampoo in order to reduce the shine(grease) of my hair. I usually go two days without washing my hair so it doesn’t get greasy but I do loose volume fast. Though I did get volume! But...This left a lot of residue on my roots and was hard to make it disappear without completely rubbing my finger tips on it. Overall- I wasn’t too impressed if I’m comparing it too other dry shampoo.. BUT it was fair cheap, one of the cheapest drug store dry shallow out there so I can’t complain about the price!

first time user of dry shampoo

I had always wanted to try this product, and finally did. This is the very first time that I have ever tried a dry shampoo. I found the fragrance very fresh and appealing. It did add a bit of volume, however not as much as I had hoped. In terms of absorbing hair oil, my hair still felt and looked dirty. If you apply it to your hair before bed, it does work better.

Oily hair

After waking up the next morning after showering the day prior and constantly having greasy looking hair, i finally decided to invest in dry shampoo so i wouldnt have to shower and wash my hair so often as i was. I found this product to be ineffective, my hair maybe looked a tiny bit less oily but still didnt work as much as ive heard other brands do. Altho it doesnt leave anything noticeable in ur hair (i have dark hair) so thats good and the smell is nice. Wouldnt buy again but would try a different brand

Over all Disappointed

Honestly sightly disappointed with this product. I have a very oily scalp anf this dry shampoo just couldnt hold up to my oils. Would not replace a day of washing my hair with this. But I do like it for the days when im going out later in the evening as a little hair refresher.

Heavy Residue!

I did not care for this product! It left a really heavy residue in my hair no matter if i applied before bed or first thing. You could see it and it felt really gross. Smell is really chalky as well. Will not buy again.

I would not purchase this again

I definitely did. Or find that Doce Dey shampoo worked very well at all. I would not recommend it to others and would not waste my money buying it again.

Not very effective

My hair still looks oily after using this, even it’s the day after washing. I do like the smell of this dru shampoo. Not the worse product but I will definitely be looking for a. different product

Product was ok

I really liked the scent but what I have to say I did not like was that it left some white in my hair. Otherwise it did its job and that's why I say it is ok.

This is an example of you get what you pay for

The smell is nice. I'll give it that. Unlike some dry shampoos it does smell pleasant and not like the inside of the arasol can that it comes in but other than that it's a fail. Leaves a ton of residue, no matter how much you shake you hair or brush it that coating of powder never goes away. My hair isn't greasy either but I do like the bit of volume that most dry shampoos give, I can't imagine using this in hair that was on the oily side. You would never get it out again. Spend the few extra dollars and get a quality dry shampoo or powder.
