It's hard for me to judge how well this product performs, because I don't dye or perm my hair, and get trim on a regular basis. The scent of this product is very strong, and smells like... Shampoo. So if you love that clean fresh scent, you are gonna love how this smells. Looking at the ingredients, the first 3 are silicone, mineral oil, and more silicone. That's a big nono in my books, because silicone heavy weighs down my fine thin hair, and take away whatever little volume I have. I might still use this product when my hair feels really dry, but probably wouldn't purchase.

This serum in oil by Dove in the advanced series is very silky and soft to my hair! It makes it very shiny and smooth and nourishment is very important if your hair is dry and has lots of split ends!

#gotitfree #chickadvisorshowcase I'm not a fan of hair serums. I find them too much for my oily hair. I will use them sometimes during the dry winter months. So for me this could last a while. I do enjoy the scent, the texture is alright. I can see if you have dry or overpricessed hair this could work.

The scent is a bit strong for my liking but it does smooth out my hair initially. It does bring in some shine to my hair as well. Less frizzy on initial application. Will have to test longer outdoors to see it if helps with frizz from humidity. It does seem to make my hair softer as well.

The oil smells really nice but I think it will work better on wet hair before blowdrying. I used one pump on dry hair and it did leave my hair a little greasy.

This was amazing for my dry ends and heat damaged. Plus it smells so good, and it's a steal of a deal price wise. I love Dove products and will be adding this to my regimen

I usually use morocaoil but this one is perfect, I love the smell, the texture and u don't need lots of it or it male hair look greasy, pricewise is awesome much cheaper than morocaoil but give the same smoothing effect

I love this product. My hair is so thankful for this. My hair is so damaged and dry, so I really need this. My hair feels soft and healthy already :)

I got this product for free at the Chickadvisor ShowCase. Love the smell! Instantly my hair felt and looked healthier and shinier with less frizz. Also left my hands feeling soft and smooth.

Smells really nice and leaves my hair feeling super smooth! Just keep in mind that this is a product full of silicones whether you are a fan of that or not is another thing. For a drugstore product, this performs quite well and is something I would even use on my color treated hair.
