Love this soap. I'm an allergy sufferer who has to be careful with the type of soap I use. I have used this used this soap for years. In fact, whenever I travel, this soap is always in my suitcase. I never take the change of using what the hotels provide.
I've been using this soap ever since it came on the market. My skin is sensitive and dries up quickly in the colder months. Dove Sensitive Skin Unscented Beauty Bar helps to keep my skin moisturized without causing breakouts. I find scented products cause me to have bumpy skin, Dove helps my skin to stay smooth and soft.
I get a huge big pack from costco whenever they go on sale and it lasts me a year. I use it for my body in the shower bc I have sensitive skin, plus it keeps bugs from following you like mad in spring and summer. I also use it for makeup removal. I don't even need to use an extra eye makeup remover with it. My mascara and eyeliner washes off amazingly with this.
Even though this product is unscented it never fails to leave you feeling fresh. I always keep a bar in my shower. I find I use this product for shaving more often than body washes because a little bit goes a long way.
Okay, I'll admit it. I'm a sucker for high end body wash. I love the luxe packaging and those complex fragrances that just smell expensive.
The thing is, my body doesn't love them as much as I do. Especially those particularly... "sensitive areas"... Ladies, you know what I'm talking about.
So at the end of the day, I always come back to my Dove soap. A bar lasts a good long time - a month or more, depending how often you shower. It does the job, and it keeps my skin from drying out or getting irritated.
As a bonus, it's the only thing I use to keep a new tattoo clean. It really fits the bill for an unscented, non-drying soap, and I prefer the sensitive formula for sure. I always open a fresh bar (because hygiene), but again, it lasts.
I prefer the regular Dove Beauty Bar. The Sensitive seems to leave a residue and feels slippery on my skin. In a pinch I'll use this, but the regular is my go to.
My doctor recommended this after I had recurrent yeast infections. It has been great, no strong odor, lathers nicely and has not contributed to any infections, it's a great product.
