I live in Canada, and winters here can get pretty cold and dry. My sensitive skin just can't handle the same products I use during the summer anymore. My skin gets so dry! As the temperatures drop, I'm constantly itching... EVERYWHERE. I've always loved Dove products, but I was under the illusion that even the sensitive soap wouldn't be sensitive enough for my skin. So I tried the Aveeno sensitive unscented wash thinking it would be a no-brainer, but was actually pretty disappointed with the remaining itch, and am convinced it is due the fact that it has sulfates in it. Looking at the Dove sensitive soap's ingredients, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is soap free and sulfate free! I know it says unscented, but it actually has a very light fresh smell which is honestly a plus for me, because I do like having somewhat of a nice smell. It lathers well, rinses well, leaving skin feeling clean and moisturized. Plus, I've found that I love this as a face wash too (yep you guessed it, my face is obviously 10x dryer than my body) and its made my face so much brighter and even-toned. I still have to moisturize everywhere after washing, but I would never expect a soap to actually leave me not needing to moisturize in the winter.
