So I went and bought this thinking it was going to be similar to the regular body wash. And sadly I was wrong. I don’t like the foam, it gives you way less and I feel like you need a lot more to lather on your body. I love the smell. And the way it makes my skin feel. But quantity isn’t enough for the price you pay. I don’t think I’ll buy it again, but I will buy the other body washes.
Great smell but not very effective.
The soap suds did not stay for long and I had to use a lot more of it compared to other body washes. Did not feel very clean after using it. Works really well as a hand soap though.
As much as I enjoy the smell and feel of this body wash, I was blown away by how expensive it was for a little bottle..10 dollars is alot for body wash! The coupon sent to help with the cost couldn't even be redeemed as the stores don't sell the size it requires..pretty disappointed..
I found the scent didn't linger and it didn't soften my skin like the regular Dove body wash does. The scent itself (Green Tea and Cucumber) wasn't very pleasant compared to the regular body wash too, not sure why.
Honestly, I'm not sure what to expect of this when I got it. It's basically foam that I'm lathering on my body. The scent I like, though I'm not sure if it is actually cleaning my body. I will use it more to see.
I don't think it locks in moisture as much as my other body washes as my skin gets dry when dried and I didn't experience that with my normal body washes. I will use more to see though.
I wanted to love this product, unfortunately it wasn't a hit with me. Although the smell was amazing, I wished the texture was more creamy. I felt like the foam washed off before I was able to even use it properly.
I like the product I just was not a fan of this particular scent. I like the amount of product in the bottle and how many pumps you can get out of a single container. I prefer the other scents/unscented ones to this one.
bonjour a tous un petit mot sur la mousse pour le corps dove que j ai eu en cadeau gratuit je suis tres satisfaite du produit car ma peau est douce et sans résidu de savon
I was sent three different Dove Shower Foam varieties as part of Chick Advisor's Product Review Club. I received these products for free in exchange for honest reviews. Please keep in mind when reading these reviews that I have highly sensitive skin and environmental sensitivities.
I believe the Dove Shower Foam line is their newest one. I received this one along with the Shea Butter and Warm Vanilla, and Deep Moisture varieties. I believe they also carry one for sensitive skin, which I wish I had been sent, just so I could see if it was something that agreed with me.
The packaging on all of these bottles was very nice. The plastic is very hard and sturdy, and there's a pump which you can open and close with a twist. Each bottle is supposed to contain upwards of 250 pumps, which J feel is quite generous.
This immediately pumped out into a thick foam, no water required. This isn't unlike a foaming hand soap, only for your body, so if you're a fan of those, you may like these. The lather itself does feel quite rich and soft, and one full pump goes a long way. I didn't use a loofah, but I imagine that would make it stretch even further!
Although my skin did feel very clean after rinsing and drying, I didn't feel particularly moisturized, which is something that this product claims to be. As someone who has educated herself in cosmetic and skincare ingredients, there really aren't too many ingredients in here that I was overly impressed with. I think that there are worse options, to be sure, but there's nothing really here that is going to nourish your skin in the way that Dove claims -- the opposite may occur, depending on your skin and usage of the product.
The scent of the product itself is nothing that I would describe as Cucumber OR Green Tea, and considering neither of those things are listed in the ingredients, it's safe to say it's all synthetic fragrance. Unfortunately, it's very fragrant indeed, the most fragrant of the three I tried. I was nearly choking on it and found myself feeling ng very sick after using it. Although I didn't experience a reaction on my arms, where I tested the product, after putting my face up to each bottle to smell them individually, I noticed that my face began to burn very badly.
I asked my mother if she would like to try this and offer her thoughts to give a differing point of view, however this one was too fragrant for her to even want to try. I can safely say that this product is one I will not be able to use, and it's definitely not one I would recommend for those with any sort of scent intolerance.
