I received this product for free as part of the Chick Advisor Review Club. Now this a very good hair spray. I used on hair extensions and it held my hair style in place extremely well with being sticky or rock hard. It's light weight and smells very nice. I'm not a big user of hair spray but I would use this again if needed. Will recommend it to friends/family that are looking for a flexible hair spray.

I tried this hairspray for the first time the other day. I was heading out for the day to be an extra in a movie and needed to have my hair done up for formal attire. At 6am I curled my hair and pinned back my bangs, then sprayed hairspray like there was no tomorrow. It held up for the entire 11 hour shoot and then into the evening. The clip I had to hold back my bangs wasn't large enough to really do the job, but the hairspray held every piece in place. it has a nice pleasant scent and I went to bed without washing it out, when I woke up it stills good enough to wear to work and wasn't crispy at all. Great hold and good texture. I would definitely recommend it. Here's a pic - I am obviously better at curling one side than the other :)

Effectiveness is just as average as other hairspray but smell is too strong for me. Not my kind of hairspray. I do prefer their old spray :/ For the price, I would say it's okay, but I don't think I will go with other spray due to its strong scent

OMG I LOVE THIS HAIRSPRAY. I have been looking for a good hairspray for literally YEARS. I received this product for free as part of the Product Review Club and I'm so so so happy! This hairspray works so well and it doesn't have that weird hairspray smell like most other brands do. Even my boyfriend says that it doesn't smell bad or strong when I use it. It actually smells amazing and it holds my hair without making it feel crusty. I use it on straight hair (to tame frizz and flyaways) as well as when I curl my hair to hold the curls, even after sleeping on my curls they hold their shape on the 2nd day! I can't say enough good things about this hairspray, would def recommend, purchase again, and this will be part of my hair routine from now on!

I like a hairspray that doesn't leave a sticky residue or smell like Classic hairspray (you know the smell).

Dove's Hold Hairspray comes in an aerosol can, to which I would prefer a non-aerosol bottle - that whole paranoia about cans exploding!

This spray sprays on evenly from about 20cm away from my head, and has a really nice light scent - it's not a typical hair spray smell.

I also like the texture and feel - it doesn't make my hair feel sticky or straw like, but more natural.

It holds my hair well, especially with a pony tail under my winter toque! I can take off my hat and my hair isn't a disaster! This is a real concern in Canadian Winters.

Overall, I would recommend this hairspray and it's a good price point compared to similar higher end brands.

I have black, thick hair and I iron it every day to get it fairly straight. I hate hairspray that gives my hair this heavy, crunch feel and thank goodness the Dove flexible hold hairspray doesn't do that! ChickAdvisor sent me this product to try out and I was nervous at first because there's only a handful of brands I would use. The hairspray is light and tames my hair for a large portion of the day. It's a pretty good product!

I use hairspray fairly often to hold my wavy hair. I was excited to try this product because it said it was flexible hold which is what I really like and use. It sprays on really light so, you don't even feel like you are even using hairspray. I was feeling really optimistic throughout the morning as it was holding and looking great but by mid afternoon, the hold was no longer there and I didn't have the product with me to reapply. That said, with the length of time it lasted, it would definitely work well for a night out. I will definitely give it another try but I have had better success with other flexible hold sprays. The hairspray also has a chemical type smell which I didn't like.

only hairspray ill buy! has a really nice scent to it unlike most every other hairspray .. its priced very well so its defiantly worth the buy, also doesn't leave your hair extremely hard

First off I must say that I never use hairspray, due to the way it hardens your hair and just makes it stiff. What an absolute peasant surprise to use this hairspray, and end up with shiny hair, that stayed in place after I styled it, and sprayed on the hairspray. My hairstyle stayed put, but my hair is still movable, and full of body, and not hard at all, but actually soft :)

I enjoyed this hair spray: it smells super good, it keeps intact curly hair all day, and most importantly, it does not give a dirty or sticky effect to the hair.

It is quite affordable, and I certainly would buy it or recommend it to my friends!
