I do not usually use any gels but I was trying a new curling style and I knew I was going to need the extra hold. I didn't want to spend a lot of money because I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out. This product was on sale and even if it wasn't on sale, it was still cheaper than a lot of the products on the wall and so I grabbed it.
It absolutely changed my mind about hair-gel products. It did not weigh my hair down and it also did not harden onto my hair and leave it looking greasy. It actually did give my hair more volume and a healthy shine while holding my curls in place.
I will definitely be using this product again in the future whenever I am looking for some extra hold and a hairspray just isn't enough.

I'm typically not a huge fan of hair gels unfortunately, BUT I did try the dove hair gel and absolutely loved the results! It left my curly thick hair feeling smooth and refined without any buildup or greasiness left behind. It is a very affordable product and it is a good quality as well, you can find it at any Walmart, shoppers drug mart, etc. I would definitely recommend trying this hair product.

i love this product. i like that it is a styling gel but then it also adds volume to my hair. i use this product all the time. i also like that the price is fairly good as well . i recommend this product to anyone

I liked this Dove volumizing gel. It worked great and wasnt sticky. Alot of the hair gels tend too make hair sticky and hard to manage in your hair but this did not. I will buy again

I like using this product after the shower. I apply it to damp hair and either blow dry or air dry my hair. it works well with both drying methods.
it has a nice light scent and it actually gives volume to my fine frizzy hair.
if you do the want the crunchy style just run a brush through your hair and that helps :)

Again I use salon brands, but was at my sister's house and she had dove hair products. I used some and this actually worked especially bringing volume to my root area.

I've been using this in the palm of my hands and then spritzed with equal parts water and then all mixed together and applied to my hair to use as a styler. I switch between different kinds of stylers all the time, and like to use this gel one on days after just cleaned hair (b/c that's when it's most unruly and all over the place). So this is more effective and forceful to use against my frizz on bad days. It's not the best scent, in fact it's not as noticeably scented as other sprays and mousses to begin with. I water it down to have a lighter application of it and not have as much crunchiness.

This product works well with my fine hair & has a great hold if you're into the spiky/messy styled look.
I recommend this product for guys who like to style their hair, the price seems to be a tad bit high when you compare it to other men's products, but I'd still recommend it.

Price is decent but I wasn't happy with this. Usually Dove products are amazing so I don't know what happened here. Try another brand unless you like a low grade hold.

I used to look for hair care products that make my hair more smooth and not so puffy. But because as I am getting older my hair has gotten so much thinner. So I am always purchasing products that make my hair look thicker. #Dove (Style + Care Volumizing Gel) works really good I just apply while my hair is damp blow dry and style as usual and it really does make my hair fuller, thicker and healthier, I recommend this product because it honestly works.
