I received two samples of this product as part of our review club: Wild Rose and Nature Fresh. I've been using Nature Fresh for a couple of weeks now. It is a good anti-perspirant: I apply in the morning and the product keeps me dry and odourless all day. Its scent in not offensive since it's pretty light and probably can be universally appealing. The Wild Rose scent is also not too strong. Additionally, Dove infuses their anti-perspirants with moisturizers and this product is no exception so application is incredibly smooth. I don't notice much residue on my clothes but I can't say that there isn't any at all. The amount is comparable to or a bit less than most other products out there. Coverage is almost invisible when applied moderately. Dove claims that this product contains Pro-Epil which will make underarm hairs less visible over time, and I feel I haven't been using it long enough to comment on that aspect yet. I'm going to keep using this anti-perspirant and hope that it will make a difference in underarm hair appearance. Also, I love that Dove always offers consumers something new and exciting where anti-perspirants are considered. First it was infused moisturizers and now reduction in underarm hair. Pretty cool.

I will update this if I notice a difference in underarm hair appearance.

I gave it an average rate because it says that it helps minimize the visual appearance of hair in time.... since I have only used it for 2 weeks.... i have yet to see a difference. If it does help, then I would love this product. It feels light on, and has a great scent, I tried the 'Nature Fresh'. It makes me feel clean from morning to night. The one thing i don't like about this product so far, is that it does leave a little bit of a residue (a little bit of clumping).

I tried this product in two different scents, wild rose and nature fresh. I really don't have any complaints about this product. Both scents were very light and not overpowering (I have a problem with most floral scents being to strong, wild rose was just right). The product did not leave any marks on my clothing and I did not need to apply an excessive amount for it to work. It also lasts all day and does a great job of stopping odor and keeping me dry.

The only thing I found is that it didn't really do what it claimed. I didn't notice any difference with the hair under my arms after using it for a couple of weeks. I will continue using though, and if I do see a difference I of course will be updating this!

I would recommend this product as your normal day-to-day anti-perspriant.

I received the two scents (wild rose and nature fresh) as part of the Chick Advisor review. I have always been a fan of Dove anti-perspirant, and these did not disappoint. I am usually not a fan of scented anti-perspirant, but both scents I found to be light and unoffensive, even the wild rose (as I am not a big fan of floral scents). The anti-perspirant kept me dry and did not stain my clothing (which is always a good thing). I found my hair to be softer after two weeks of use, but did not notice it to be finer or less. We shall see with time if the appearance of hair diminishes significantly. I highly recommend this product as an anti-perspirant, but not so much for any hair reduction.

I got these two deoderants in Wild Rose and Natural Fresh. The Wild Rose is a bit stronger smell so if you are looking for something more subtle I suggest picking up the Natural Fresh. However I didn't mind the WIld Rose both scents smell wonderful. They kept me dry and smelling great all day. I did notice a difference in the softness of my underarm hair which was quite surprising. There didn't appear to be less hair though. Maybe if you were to use for a longer period of time you might notice a change. But all in all these dove deoderants work better than most as a regular deoderant with added softness!

At first I was a little worried as I am picky about what scents I choose when selecting an anti-perspirant. However, when applied, both scents are very subtle and not too strong.

This anti-perspirant goes on really smooth and I was actually quite impressed. It is not as chalky as its white solid counterparts. I was also impressed wtih the fact that it left the skin underneath my arms smooth and non-flaky while fighting odor the whole day.

I find that anti-perpirants that are very good at providing all day protection also have a tendency to dry out my skin, but not with this product. The only negative thing I have to say about this product is that it didn't seem to make any difference on making my underarm hair less noticeable (which is how it is marketed).

However, if you're looking for an effective anti-perpirant that fights against odor while not drying out your skin, I would definitely recommend this product.

Dove Ultimate Supreme VisiblySmooth Anti-Perspirant works to make hair finer, looking less visible and easier to remove-- however, this takes a few weeks of use and I have only been using this for a couple weeks so there is no difference so far.

I found the scents available to be unique from what I'm used to (like clean laundry, powdery, fresh showers, etc.). I found that there were herbal hints in the two scents available. I really enjoyed the 'Wild Rose' one, it was light, fresh, and pretty smelling. I didn't like the scent of 'Nature Fresh' because it felt too 'sharp' and the herbal scent was too strong. I personally prefer the typical the light and very fresh scents over the harsh scent of the 'Nature Fresh.'

In terms of effectiveness as an anti-perspirant, it worked as well as any other Dove or Unilever anti-perspirant I've tried so I would definitely recommend this product!

I've been using this deoderant for aobut two weeks.
Here's what I like :

- Smells great
- Lasts a long time
- Keeps me feeeling fresh all day

Here's what I didn't like :

- When I first apply it in the morning, it leaves white on my armpits.
- I haven't seen results yet in terms of it making the hair seem softer or easier to remove.


To be fair, it says right on the deoderant that it can take a few weeks for results with the hair. Like I said, I've only been using it about two weeks. Overall, I really like it and would purchase it when my current samples are out.

THE REAL SCOOP

The Ultimate Supreme VisiblySmooth Anti-Perspirant (what a name!) is a mass market product that does a good job of neutralizing odors and keeping sweaty underarms at bay. The product is a stick deodorant that appears pink in the tube but goes on clear. I have used other Dove deodorant products, and found this to go on quite smoothly without the white residue that their other sticks sometimes leave behind. This is a huge plus for those occasions when you are wearing dark clothing and/or want to exercise your "right to bare arms" (har har).

In terms of fragrances, the Ultimate Supreme VisiblySmooth is available in two fragrances which are pleasant enough. The Wild Rose tends to be a bit stronger, but it isn't cloying or offensive in the least. Unfortunately at this time there are no unscented versions of this product.

Dove's schtick is that all their products contain 1/4 moisturizers, and this is no exception. Whether or not you need to be moisturizing your underarms is up for debate in my mind, but they do promise to keep that skin soft and supple.

The key differentiator for this product is their "Pro-Epil" complex, which is supposed to reduce the appearance of underarm hairs over time. In the week or so that I have been using this product, there does not seem to be a visible difference, although I should preface this by saying that I am not too hairy and this may be suitable for coarser hair. According to the product website, the efficacy of the smoothing feature of this deodorant can only be seen "over time". When asked to elaborate, they state that "over time" varies for different people and can range from weeks to several months before noticing a difference.

Bottom line: This is a product that is effective for it's odor protection and anti-perspirant properties. I like that it doesn't chalk or flake up like some white stick deodorant products (including within the Dove line) can sometimes do, and I like that the application is very smooth and virtually invisible once on. I wouldn't hold my breath about th epilating properties but otherwise it is a strong product that I would re-purchase.

Since I was about 13 I've used dove anti-perspirants. My older stepsister used them and told me to try them and since then it's been dove all the way! They are just better than anything else I've used. They smell awesome, keep you fresh and don't leave your pits feeling dry. Now onto the new Visibly Smooth version..I like both scents I can't even decide which one is my favourite lol. It actually did make a difference in how soft my hair felt compared to my regular dove! :) I have not noticed a difference in the hair itself but with continued use that may change.
