Not super impressed with this product

Both myself and my daughter tried out this product since we both have rather long hair and finding a good conditioner between washes would be amazing. However, if anything, this conditioner seemed to increase the frequency that we needed to wash our hair as it cause both my hair (fine, tends to get oily) and her hair (thick, not oily) to look oily and a bit clumped together. We did use it according to the directions on the can but the only time it seemed to work is if applied to wet hair instead of normal conditioner in the shower.

Didnt work for me

I got to try the new Dove UltraCare mousse conditioner. Its a cool idea ive never seen a mousse conditioner before and it smells amazing but unfortunately it did not work well for me.

I found it did not condition enough. My hair was really tangled and very hard to brush. After it dried my ends were really dry feeling and had a lot of static as if i didnt use any conditioner at all.

I do have fine, fine hair but I have tons of it! I probably have enough hair for 4 people and its really long right now. I think this would work great for someone who doesnt have a thick head of fine hair..

I will definitely give it another shot after i get my hair cut short and thinned out. Thanks for letting me try it #gotitfree

Maybe Mousse isn't for me

I was extremely grateful to have been chosen by ChickAdvisor to try Dove Ultracare Conditioner Weightless+Moisture Mousse free in exchange for my honest review #gotitfree

I thought this would be a great opportunity since the product is targeted towards fine, dry hair which I have. I always find it a real chore to brush out all of my tangles after washing and conditioning my hair. While I liked the formula and light scent of this mousse, I wasn't sure how much product to use. After using Dove shampoo, I sprayed two large dollops into my hand and the product absorbed into my hair easily. I left the product on for a few minutes each time I've used it (more than the 1 minute they recommend in the directions), and then rinsed. Unfortunately, perhaps due to the tangle-prone nature of my hair, this product did not "effortlessly detangle [my] hair." I've had better luck with creme conditioners in the past, so I will likely try the creme and milk-gel versions of the Ultracare Conditioner to see if they suit my hair better. If I find these work for me, I would spend the few extra dollars to buy the Ultracare Conditioner rather than a standard one. I wouldn't recommend to others based on my experience, but it may work well for others!

It’s an interesting product!

It’s a very good smelling product and it was fun to use! However I don’t think it made my hair as soft as my regular conditioner does. I probably would buy it again for the smell! And the fact you only have to leave it for a minute is good for when you’re in a rush!

Didn't help

This product is easy to use and smells nice, but it did nothing for my hair. My hair was still very tangled, it was really hard to comb it. I had to use another product after to be able to cmb it through. It's a great idea, but doesn't work. Sorry.

Weightless

I was skepticism because I have used so many product that try to do the same thing. I found this dive product effective and Truly feels weightless in my hair giving it nice volume
