Dries out my skin

I found it to dry out my skin when using it in the shower. The body wash from dove is way better so i would stick with that more then the bar soap. My husband likes the bar soap though and doesnt seem to have that same issue!!

Not impressed at all, I gave my daughter this soap in the bathtub, and there was so much soap scum on the top & throughout the water. the water was so cloudy you could barely see through the water. would not buy again

Not for me

I have never really liked dove. I have tried it more than once and I find it very drying on my skin. This product is just not for me. I don't find it very effective.

Dry Skin

It's not as nourishing as it says to be
It actually dries my skin leaves my skin feeling blotchy and itchy
The shower gel is better
Dont like the bar of soap
I have tried different scent ones but they are all the same .I think there are better soaps

Not really impressed...

Overall I must say that I'm not impressed. This bar has not been able to remove my makeup, and in fact, leaves quite a significant amount of residue on the skin. It's not particularly hydrating, and in fact, on my own skin, has been quite drying overall. I've used it as a hand soap, and again, it does not remove contaminants on the hands, and leaves them quite dry overall. I wouldn't recommend this product overall.

Good Bar soap

While I was on vacation in the Caribbean i bought a bar of Dove soap for the shower and I was happy with how soft my skin felt. Upon return to Canada I bought the same bar of soap (Dove White Beaty bar), but lo and behold my skin was dry. A different formula between countries :(
On top of it I find the smell a bit overpowering.
I should say I have very dry menopausal skin.
The price is good though and it is long lasting. I would not buy again, but it is still a bar of soap and I believe better than the average soap bar.

Can't seem to wash off soap?

We've got a mixed feeling about the Dove beauty bar. I'm sure we are cleaned after using this beauty bar in the shower to clean, unfortunately with the moisture content in the product, I always feel like there's a layer of something I can't seem to wash off...is it really the the moisture only, or is there some soap I can't seem to get off completely?!

Bon produit, bonne odeur, mais un peu asséchant pour la peau..comme tous les pains de savon à cause de l'émulsifiant qui est utilisé dans les pains de savon.

Amazing

This product leaves my skin so smooth where as other soap bars dry out all the natural oils. With this bar my skin feels moisturized and I don't feel the need to apply lotion sometimes

I will not recommend this product to people who are sensitive to strong smells, this one is so strong, I do not understand why it has to be like that, and it takes forever to remove it from your body, I spend the double time doing it.
