I recently developed a weird allergy to soaps and body washes (would break out in red itchy bumps). I couldn't pin-point which ingredient I was allergic to, but whatever it is, Dove seems to be the only soap that does not contain this ingredient and that I can use without having an allergic reaction. It is the only soap I buy for the house now, and I love it! I am rating the effectiveness only 3 stars, because on hot days I shower with cooler water, and I notice hat the soap does not lather as well with cooler water. But other than that, i absolutely love this soap!

I have sensitive skin, but I don't find that this particular soap works to leave my skin feeling clean and refreshed. After I cleanse my face, I find that it feels itchy and dry.
