This is a very gentle soap, one of the ones I feel comfortable letting my kids use! I will say it is super moisturizing but for me that takes away from the clean feeling. I find the soap leaves a little bit of a residue. Never the less I still buy and use it.

I use this for my face! It helps clean all the dirt from working all day n sweating without irritating it. Also this is the only soap my son uses that he doesn't break out.

I have honestly been using this since I was a kid and still use it every time that I am in the shower. It works well on my skin and is very gentle. It does not irritate my psoriasis and leaves my skin feeling soft! It does not dry out my skin and I can't imagine being without my Dove soap!

Effective and versatile product. Great for acne and problem skin and gentle enough for the whole family. At first sign of a pimple I use the Dove Beauty Bar and it's JUST as effective (if not more so) than more expensive products and doesn't dry out my skin. The scent is great for everyone.

The ONLY negative comes from the medium. I don't like to share bars of soap with others but we solve that by all having our own!

I do think it's weird that they call this a beauty bar rather than just soap since I can only assume everyone uses it like soap. It's slightly less drying than super low end soaps (irish spring... ugh), but really not moisturizing enough to be called a beauty bar. I'd recommend it because it's often on sale and is a pretty decent price. I think this might also work for some types of sensitive skin, but mine's not too sensitive, so I can't be sure.

I like the scent of the beauty bar, it helps with sentive skin. Doesn't dry out my face. The packaging is very nice
