I was chosing by chrick advisor to review the dove beauty bar. When I was little I used it all the time. When I opened the package it brought back so many memories by the smell. It still has that classic dove smell. I loved how the soap made my skin feel soft after washing it didnt have that tight skin feeling. It lathered perfectly and smelled really good. It left me feeling very clean and refreshed

No other bar compares to the dove beauty bar, other bars usually leave your skin feeling tight and i usually need to moisturize my skin after i wash but not with this one my skin was so soft.

After trying it I decided to switch to dove and i have already recommended it to all my friends.

I have tried this bar for several days AM and PM and I am in love!

Usually my skin feels really tight after using soaps and I tend to stick to using liquid bodywashes, however this made my skin feel really soft and was gentle but still got the clean done!

I am definitely going to repuchase this again and use it as my main soap because I am in love with it. Also, the smell is very gentle and I saw in stores they have a big variety of awesome smells.

Just received the Dove Soap on Tuesday and to review it for 2 weeks.....

Well, I can't wait that long. In the past 3 days I have used it in the Am and Pm. I have extremely dry skin and irritating! This soap, not only made my skin feel clean and fresh.... it actually felt moisturized!! It left no soapy residue on my face. It SMELLS FABULICIOUS!!!! It not only cleans my face great.. it also makes a great room freshener!!! Can we get this as a room Freshener???

I highly recommend this product for anyone who has troubled skin, At least try it.... I'm sure you would all agree and make it your soap!!!!

First of all, this thing can double as a purse freshener lol! I had it in my purse for a few days (taking it between houses) and man did my purse smell AMAZING! You would unzip my bag and smell that gorgeous gorgeous smell. Just by the way it perfumed my purse I was ready to love it.

And then I tried it. So far I've only tried it a few times, and typically I like to wait a little before writing a review, but I just couldn't wait writing this review because I don't think my opinion will change no matter how much I try it.

I loved it! It lathers so well, feels so silky on my face, it doesn't sting my eyes, and washes off without leaving any gross filmy residue. It doesn't dry out my skin (I have dryyyy skin to begin with), rather my skin feels moisturized after washing with this bar. I don't know what it was about the way it lathered, but I really enjoyed washing my face with this. I do apply a moisturizer after washing, but I would do that with any cleanser. I was really truly impressed with this "beauty bar". It really lives up to its name!!

I only have two suggestions to make it even better. 1) Make the product animal byproduct and animal cruelty free. This way not only will you get a better, more hygienic product but your product will be appealing to a greater audience! And 2) Does this exact same thing come in a creamy dispenser form? I loved using the beauty bar, but I just found it a bit icky when putting it away on my soap dish. I know it's clean, but it just doesn't feel very clean when I have to put the soap dished bar on my face again... I absolutely love this and will definitely buy it once mines run out. I'll actually look see if Dove has a cream dispenser version and get that if its available.

Highly recommend this product!! Its not drying but it doesn't leave a film of moisture so it's perfect for the oily and dry sisters out there!

Wow am I impressed with this bar soap!

I received this as part of the product review club and I must say that I am pleasantly surprised. I have long switched to using liquid soap just because I have found bar soap to be extremely drying. However, this soap was NOT drying at all.

First of all, the smell is wonderful. I really like Dove's scent. To me, it is a flowery but clean scent. It's not too harsh and the scent lasts for a good while (makes me feel clean just smelling it). Second, they weren't kidding about this soap being moisturizing. I did not need to put on moisturizer after using this and my skin did not feel itchy like it normally does when it's dry.

However, I think the best part about this soap is that when I rinse it off, I can tell it's fully off unlike other moisturizing soaps. I don't know if it's making sense but normally if you use something that claims to be moisturizing, I will be keep rinsing but I can't tell if I got all the soap off because it still feels like there's a layer of it. If I'm using a soap that dries my skin, I can fully tell when I'm rinsed off because my skin doesn't feel slippery but it dries out my skin. With this soap, it's easy to tell when I have rinsed it off but the moisture is definitely there, you just won't feel slimy!

I'm really loving this soap and I gave the other one (it came in a pack of 2) to my mom to try and she loves it as well!

i love how soft this soap my my skin feel and after ai get out of the tub i feel so clean. i also love the smell of it. And the price is good but I buy more of it when its on sale and I have a coupon. i also buy lots of other dove products and I like this soap bar just as much as dove bodywash. I had used this before, but many years ago. It doesn't seem to have changed much, which is a good thing. I feel really clean but not that tight, dry squeaky clean that some soap leaves. There's no residue left either. This has the classic Dove scent which is great. So fresh and reminds me of summer for some reason.

This is definitely a classic and will become a staple in my house again

I was excited to be chosen as a reviewer of the Dove beauty bar with moisturizing cream. I received it last week and have been using it in my shower every day since. I have always had dry skin that is also sensitive. After my first use, my skin was so much smoother and there was a lot less visible dryness. The light scent was refreshing and not overpowering! On the weekend my two young grandchildren stayed over and I used the beauty bar in their bath. They are also prone to dryness and skin sensitivity. They loved the creaminess of the bar and their skin was baby soft after! Thank you Chick Advisor. I highly recommend this product. It is a great one! You Betcha!

The Dove® Beauty Bar has changed the way I think about bar soap! I don't usually use bar soap, and I never use it on my face! I don't really like how it leaves a white film on the soap dish, and on the skin. In using the Dove® Beauty Bar, in the shower, I discovered it's not really like soap at all! It doesn’t feel slimy on the skin at all … it leaves the skin feeling clean but not dry like a regular soap would. I find that this is both nice and gentle while it also has that familiar, great, light scent. For the quality of soap you are getting, it is very inexpensively priced because it does the same as a good face wash for the lower priced bar of soap. I would consider switching to make this bar my usual bar and/or recommend it to a friend because it never dries your skin, nor does it ever make your skin feel tight … all this with a pleasant, light smell that is not overpowering, and lasts throughout the day. You could say that it’s creamy and very moisturizing. It lathers easily and leaves the skin soft and supple.

One think to point out: you must be careful not to leave any water in the soap dish because, if you do, the soap will become extremely soft, like it’s melting, which would mean that (before you realize it) much of the soap will be wasted. To recap, I really enjoy the Dove® Beauty Bar. This soap is so soft and soothing, and it’ll keep you feeling fresh all day long. I would recommend this to anyone that gets dry skin in the winter, or to help make anyone’s skin feel refreshed in the summer; especially after a long day at the beach or pool.
