I remember always using a bar of soap as a kid. I have stopped using it in my early 20's. I found it to leave my skin dry. I have received a dove gift basket at Christmas. Dove is a regular in our house. I love that the scent is very mild, it does not make any of my sensitive skin children itch, and does not leave as much film on the skin or in the tub like other brands of soap.
I even use Dove Beauty bar to wash my face and have almost no break outs.
