I have a bit of a phobia of washing some of my more expensive clothes because I don't want them to stretch, shrink, or fade, so if I use down unstoppables I get so many wears out of my clothes before they start to smell ;)

I purchase 2 different scents from the Downy Unstopable line and I am not impressed with the product. It does not smell as good as they describe in their commercials. The scent does not stay in the fabric for the amount of time they state on their commercials. It has a strong scent at the beginning. Too strong a scent for my taste. But the scent does not last. After the first 2 weeks, the scent is gone. And if you use it with your every day clothes, you don't get the benefit of the product lasting for 12 weeks in your closet because you wash your clothes every week, therefore using the product every week. So, where is the benefit of it lasting 12 weeks?
I find the price too high for the worth of the product and therefore, I do not recommend this product. For those who have allergies, I do not recommend this product because for the first week of wear, it has a really strong scent.

A little go a long way, I will say a table spoon is more than enough.

I didn't find this worked as well as advertised. I did not find the smell stayed as long Asti states

I LOVE Downy Unstopables! I use them on linens and clothes and it leaves them smelling fresh for weeks and weeks!

Buy! Buy! Buy! There is nothing better than the smell of fresh cloths. Downy Unstopables add such a wonderful scent. I add Downy to my wash and then hang my cloths on the line for the best smelling laundry. Can I buy it in larger quantities?

Downy unstopables combat the "odd" smell that can often accompany washing your clothes with well water. They leave everything fresh for weeks, and I absolutely adore the available scent choices. This is a great product! Using less than the recommended amount (I use about 15 pieces for a large load) will get you good results, and stretch the product out longer since I find it is a bit expensive for an unnecessary item.

I got a sample of this, and put in toooo much. My clothes stunk way too much.
