Excellent introduction to the world of Korean skincare

I fell absolutely in love with this product after the first night! The consistency of the cream is a little gel-like, not too heavy and not too light - just perfect for melting into the face overnight. The scent was soft and delicate, just the right note for overnight skincare. I found my skin was very well-hydrated come morning, without being greasy or sticky, and all of my problem spots were moisturized and "filled" in. This cream reminded me a lot of the Laneige overnight water mask, but at a somewhat lower price point, when on sale. I don't know if I would repurchase this at regular price, but if part of a promotion, I would seriously consider a refill.

I was given the opportunity from Chick Advisor to try this product out freely. I love that it has 100% natural fragrances as I have very sensitive skin. The smell is subtle. The cream is really thick but does a great job of moisturising the skin.

CICA Recovery Cream

I received this from ChickAdvisor. I been using this recovery cream a about 2 weeks. It comes with a mini spatula. I don't have a lot of acne but I do get a few before period. I noticed that I get less acne after using this recover cream. I will keep using it to see if my skin will get better.

Light and Smooth

The cream has a very light citrus scent which smells quite pleasant but was gentle enough that my sensitive skin did not react. I liked that it was a light, moisturizing cream which was perfect for hot summer weather and it absorbed quickly into my ski.

Very Effective

I received this in the product review club for free. Out of the three products, this is my favourite. This cream is very rich and really helps my skin at night. While you don't have to use this at night, I like to use it then after the serum (which works well with it, but this is still great on its own). I love that it comes with a little spatula to keep the cream from becoming contaminated as well. The price is pretty high, but it is in line with most mid to high end creams that are comparable. If a cheaper alternative doesn't work for you, I do think this is worth trying out as I don't have anything more affordable that works quite as well, but my skin is good so I don't necessarily need this.

Lovely for my skin!

It was such a treat to try this cream. I started using it every morning as part of my routine. It seemed to provide a nice 'natural' moisture to my face. I can't tell if it's making a difference to the overall texture of my skin, but I can definitely say its providing sufficient moisture day to day. I'm looking forward to making it part of my winter skin care.

Dr. B cica recovery cream

I received the Dr. Belmeur cica recovery cream courtesy of ChickAdvisor in exchange for my honest and unbiased review #gotitfree.

This cream comes in a tub form and it feels luxurious. It also comes with a small spatula so that you don't contaminate the whole jar. I love Korean skincare products because they have really nice and cute packaging.

The cream itself is very thick and buttery. It has a light floral scent to it. As you apply it on your face it just melts into your skin. I use this cream after the serum at night time. I just didn't like the fact that my face felt a little sticky afterwards. My face feels moisturized and smooth when I wake up the next morning.

I would probably purchase this again but maybe in the winter when my skin needs more TLC and I definitely recommend this cream.

Effective moisturizer that has a sticky residue

I really like this cream. So far I’ve mostly used it before bed, but I’ve slowly been switching over to daytime use due to the fact that the cream leaves behind a tacky residue on my face. I don’t like the idea of sleeping with a sticky face so I decided that having a tackier base for my makeup is a better option for me. It doesn’t interfere with primer or foundation and makes my skin feel super youthful and bouncy. I also really like the bougie, heavy packaging. But again, it’s much more masculine than anything I’d see right from store shelves for myself. I love this tub, and the application wand for getting product out- however I think an opportunity was missed to create a place where that wand can clip directly onto the packaging to avoid loss. It really bothers me that the wand is just loose.

Very smooth cream

This product goes on very smooth and spreads easily. I enjoyed using this cream as it didn't leave a sticky film behind but keeps me feeling hydrated all day. It's great for calming my skin down. I like to use it at night to give my skin the extra hydration .

I’ve been hearing a lot about centella asiatica (a.k.a. cica) in the K-beauty community lately and how it’s a "miracle ingredient" for PIH and redness, so I was really excited to test this product out.
After using the Cica Recovery Cream every day, in the morning and at night, for 2 weeks, my skin was moisturized, plump, my pores appear smaller, and my skin was less oily throughout the day. I like the light fresh scent of this cream and it left my skin feeling soft and smooth. I also like that it came with a little spatula so that the cream stays clean and hygienic. The only con to this product would be that it's a little too thick for summer. I plan on saving the rest for my winter skincare routine.
