Ok
I tried this from a sample, experience with a full-sized product and more frequent use could differ.
I love Cica as an ingredient and have been using creams with it for a while. I was happy to be able to try another one. While the texture of the cream was nice, and it absorbed fine, there were really no benefits that I could see or feel to it. My skin didn't feel particularly moisturized, nor did it seem brighter or a little plumper as it did when I used any of my other products with Cica. Possibly more frequent use is required before seeing results with this cream, and it wasn't bad or cause a reaction, but it's not for me.
broke me out
I have sensitive skin, combo in the winter and oily in summer. I was really excited to try this because the ingredients sounded perfect. This however broke me out and clogged my pores for weeks before i stopped using it. It wasn't so much direct acne, but overall congestion and my face was bumpy and red all over. This is WAY TOO RICH for oily/sensitive skin. If you have dry skin it may work.
Not for combo skin
I recieved this free to try for testing purposes and was so excited to get my hands on this. I've used this consistently for 2 weeks. It has very little to no scent which is a plus for me since my skin gets irritated from heavy fragrance. You get a fantastic amount of product in the jar, so it would probably last you a good 4 months. I say this because you really do not need a lot. The cream is very thick melts easily between your fingers. The only thing is, it goes on really oily. I feel like Im rubbing shea butter all over my face. I woke up with and super oily forehead and general T-zone. My skin did feel nice and soft as the product was supposed to do, but it made my skin break out. Perhaps because of the oiliness. I stopped using it for just 3 days and my skin started to clear up. I wouldn't rush to pick this up if you have combo skin. If you have oily skin, run far from it. I think it would be great for those with dry skin though. But I'll pass.
