I was very excited to have the chance to try Cica Recovery Cream from The Face Shop's Dr. Belmeur line for free in exchange for my honest review #gotitfree

I was very impressed with the quality of the packaging and the hygienic nature of the cream. A plastic scoop is included with the cream, so that one doesn't have to use their hands to dip into the jar with each use. I have some acne scars, uneven skin and some dry patches, and I really liked the results I got from using the cica recovery cream for two weeks straight. Out of the serum and the cream, I preferred the cream because of the texture and the results. With the cream, a little goes a long way. It's more like a gel than a cream, which worked well for my skin in this warmer weather. It's fantastic that The Face Shop is available online and in shopping centres for Canadians as otherwise it can be quite tricky to find Korean skincare. I found that this provided great results, and since a little goes a long way, it will last longer than other similar products. Because of this, the high price point doesn't seem as expensive. I would recommend to friends and family and will probably purchase this again once I've gotten through this jar.

Apaise et protège

J'ai encore quelques légères cicatrices d'acné mais grâce à cette crème, elles sont moins apparentes. En effet, cette crème est très hydratante et aide à atténuer les petites cicatrices laissées par l'acné.

De plus, j'ai tendance à avoir la peau rouge et ce produit a réussi à calmer mes rougeurs au visage.

Ma peau est hydratée toute la journée sans être trop grasse.

Very smooth cream

This product goes on very smooth and spreads easily. I enjoyed using this cream as it didn't leave a sticky film behind but keeps me feeling hydrated all day. It's great for calming my skin down. I like to use it at night to give my skin the extra hydration .

I love this Cica Cream!

I’ve been hearing a lot about centella asiatica (a.k.a. cica) in the K-beauty community lately and how it’s a "miracle ingredient" for PIH and redness, so I was really excited to test this product out.
After using the Cica Recovery Cream every day, in the morning and at night, for 2 weeks, my skin was moisturized, plump, my pores appear smaller, and my skin was less oily throughout the day. I like the light fresh scent of this cream and it left my skin feeling soft and smooth. I also like that it came with a little spatula so that the cream stays clean and hygienic. The only con to this product would be that it's a little too thick for summer. I plan on saving the rest for my winter skincare routine.

Not my cup of tea

I did not like that the writing was all in Korean. The texture of product is thick and weird. I only used this product once because I also did not like the scent. I used my Tatcha water cream instead. I received this product for free to try.

Great option for very dry skin

I have been using this product as my night cream for about two weeks now. I tried it once during the day but it was too heavy on my skin for daytime. I apply a small pea sized amount and press into my skin. When I wake up my skin still feels soft and hydrated and has a nice natural glow. This would be a great day cream for someone with dry/very dry skin! I received this product for free to try.

Great night time moisturizer

I received this product for free as part of of the chick advisors program. This is an amazing night time moisturizer, I wake up with hydrated, smooth skin every time I used this. The scent is very faint, maybe a hint of floral but disappears in a minute. My skins been a little reactive due to introducing a retinol product and left dry patches on my cheeks that were stubborn (even Avene products didn’t help), and this along with the Panthenol soothing gel helped my skin improve. The rough dry patches are now gone (been using for the past two weeks) and while the products are on the pricier side, I believe they are worth it- I’ve had no irritation, redness, breakouts and I will be purchasing a bottle when this one runs out (which likely won’t be for a few months, a little does go a long way)

I like it

There are a few things i like about this cream. it's scent is mild, texture is thick and creamy and it has a non-greasy feel. i've been using the bottle for about two weeks now and i like it.

Not for combo skin

I recieved this free to try for testing purposes and was so excited to get my hands on this. I've used this consistently for 2 weeks. It has very little to no scent which is a plus for me since my skin gets irritated from heavy fragrance. You get a fantastic amount of product in the jar, so it would probably last you a good 4 months. I say this because you really do not need a lot. The cream is very thick melts easily between your fingers. The only thing is, it goes on really oily. I feel like Im rubbing shea butter all over my face. I woke up with and super oily forehead and general T-zone. My skin did feel nice and soft as the product was supposed to do, but it made my skin break out. Perhaps because of the oiliness. I stopped using it for just 3 days and my skin started to clear up. I wouldn't rush to pick this up if you have combo skin. If you have oily skin, run far from it. I think it would be great for those with dry skin though. But I'll pass.

Amazing Product!

I have large pores and combination skin (oily, acne-prone and sensitive) so trying new products is always hit or miss. I incorporated this cream into my evening skincare routine and saw results within a few uses such as improved texture and clarity, improved moisturization in my skin(specifically in the areas of my skin that are prone to dryness) and the elasticity in my face and neck had improved.

The recovery cream was lightweight, had a very light scent (not perfumy or overwhelming) and melted into my skin easily.
