Great for Day Wear

I used this product in the morning in combination with the Soothing Gel Cream and really loved how it made my skin feel throughout the day. Its thick enough of a formula to feel hydrating without being heavy/greasy. I used it as a barrier under my foundation and it did not negatively affect my makeup. Only downfall with the product is the higher price tag but to me it will be worth the splurge when this runs out. I got to try this product for free from ChickAdvisor in exchange for an honest review.

Dr belmeur recovery serum

Of the time. I liked the smell and it was light and I ended up using it as a daytime serum because it didn’t leave my face feeling oily.

Average product

I got this serum for free to test out. This serum is thicker than a normal face serum. It claims to strengthen the skin barrier and promote elasticity which is ok in that regards. My skin feels firm but not too noticeably. Maybe I need to use it for longer to tell (have been using it for a couple of weeks).

Broke me out

I like the consistency and the crisp clean packaging of this product. However, I have sensitive skin and while it felt moisturized it also broke me out terribly.

Great product!

Great serum! I loved it. Its light weight yet really effective. I was using it with my night time routine before my night cream. It really helped my skin. I also have sensitive skin and it didnt do any reaction. I have really dry skin so it really help.

This is a beautiful serum that your face will love after you've washed all that makeup off. It presses into the skin seamlessly and instantly soothes the skin giving it a healthy radiant glow. Does not seem to clog pores and as with the other products it does have a light smell. I did get this product for free to try from Chickadvisor

Works like a dream!

I received this product through the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. This serum has been a great addition to my daily routine. It works well with the rest of my products and doesn't effect the look of my foundation. It is thicker than most serums, but absorbs quickly and feels lovely on my skin.

Good serum for combination skin

When I first started testing Dr Belmeur products, I started with the Cica Recovery Serum because I was most intrigued by the recent information coming out about cica and how it can improve my skin, and this product did not disappoint.

I tend to like serums that help act as a natural buffer between my skin and anything else I put on top, I found this serum had a smooth consistency that absorbed quickly while mildly hydrating and filling in any lines on my face. It worked well with different moisturizers on top, whether they had SPF or not, and never felt too heavy on my skin.

My skin definitely felt better for using this serum, I'd consider getting it again for sure.

More like a cream

This serum is amazing. It feels more like a light cream than a serum, i expected it to make my combination skin oily but it did not ! It is quickly absorbed into the skin. I use it everyday since i received it for free to try from Chickadvisor, it is my favorite right now.

Great serum to wear under other cream

I received this product for free for testing and review purposes. It wasn't a typical serum for me (I think oil, gel, etc.) but rather a thin lotion. It does not have a noticeable scent. It did not irritate my dry, sensitive and acne prone skin. I found it worked best by using with the Dr. Belmeur Advanced CICA Recovery Cream to help seal in extra moisture on those very dry days. On its own, it could be good as a very light moisturizer.
