Great primer!

The Dr Brandt Pore No More primer is a great primer. Coming from someone who has craters as pores, I thove this primer how it minnimizes the looks of my pores instantly. Very illuminating as well.

Second Times a Charm!

I received the DR. BRANDT PORES NO MORE PORE REFINER as a free sample in one of my Sephora orders - as someone with aging skin I was excited to try out a new primer that promised to add a little glow to my complexion. Normally I wear a matte primer and I love the way it looks... buuut sometimes it's fun to stray.

The first time I used the product I was not a fan and I found myself wanting to take it off mid way through the day. BUT after realizing my insecurities were probably due to the shine I am not used to and the glow I don't normally have, I decided to give it another go... and I enjoyed it!

The product smells quite chemically and it is a soft brown shade - two things I am not fond of. However, the product does appear transparent on the skin and does not affect your skin color. The smell also does go away eventually, but yuck! A little of the product goes a long way which is GREAT because it is quite expensive. I had a tiny sample size package and it lasted me 5 days which is longer by about 2 days then most other sample primers I have received. It applies smoothly and easily to the face with my fingertips!

As for underneath my makeup... I think it did a pretty good job of concealing pores and imperfections whilst giving a nice glow. It is not a matte primer and I think it looks like a nice natural finish. It does have a little bit of sparkly glitter look which I could also do without though. It kept my makeup looking good for about 5 hours until the shine started to come through extra - but as someone with oily skin, that is expected.

Overall a pretty good product but I would not purchase again as my complexion profile does not match with the products capabilities.

This product is one of my favorites for combatting my large pores and oily skin. Comparable to the benefit porefessional primer but with some added skincare benefits. It feels so nice on the skin and really helps keep my makeup on and matte all day. My only issue with this is that it's a bit on the pricier side for a primer.

I liked this primer as it went on smoothly (flaky nude coloured solid-ish w/ similar consistency to Smashbox Pore Minimizing primer but not quite as dry coming out of package). I was surprised however by its scent, to me it reminded me of a strong pumpkin spice. Distracting but didn't affect my sensitivities (usually with floral scents). I found the primer lasted all day on my skin but didn't help my foundation last all day as well as I had to touch up partway through my work day and found the primer was still where I put it, just the foundation had rubbed off somehow. Generally I am looking for a primer that both minimizes/fills pores without irritating them plus extends the wear of my makeup. This one didn't do it for me & the added strong scent makes this a pass for me.

I really like the Dr. Brandt Pores No More Refiner, the quality of the product is great. It feels nice on my face and does not require layers of makeup over it which is great as I don't enjoy wearing layers of makeup, nor do I have a lot of time to figure out how to apply layers of it.
Its a bit pricey but you don't use very much so it does last and I would rather pay for quality once than purchase many items that won't get used. We have all done that, it's no good.
If you purchase from a Sephora double the points deal than at least you get a bit of fun out of it.
I do recommend trying this product, it's pretty neat.

Lately, I’ve been hunting for a good pore minimizing primer. There’s been a lot of hype surrounding the Dr. Brandt Pores No More primer, so I figured I might as well give in and see what the big deal is. I tested out for a week during my intense work days and I must say, I am quite impressed! It feels light on my skin and works better than my Smashbox Photofinish Primer to blur out my giant pores. I found it lasted much longer and held my makeup together better as well! I did, however, find it to be quite drying. But, it was nothing my First Aid Beauty moisturizer couldn’t fix! It is a bit pricier but a little goes a long way.

I have a very oily tzone with HUGE pores. I'm always looking for products to combat them, whether it be cleansers, toners, creams, primers, etc. I have tried SO MANY primers, drugstore and high end, that claim to help with pores but really do nothing. But not this gem! This is a wonderful primer! I only bought the small size for $18CAD because I was a bit skeptical of it, but it's the best primer I have ever used! It does smell like Tea Tree Oil, but it's not overpowering like pure Tea Tree Oil is. I hardly even notice it honestly (but maybe that's because I use Tea Tree often, idk). This primer makes my pores look small and instantly mattifies my skin. It's smooth and soft on your skin, and stays on well. I don't think it really helps my makeup stay on any better than usual, but for what it does for my pores and oil it's 100% worth it! I love it so much, and will definitely be buying more!

I've tried many primers. Most feel either too slick, have that overly silicone feeling, and break out my sensitive skin. This does none of that. I originally got this as a sample and ended up getting the 0.5oz. This fills in my pores without clogging them. Smoothes in my fine lines, mattifies my t-zone, and gives me a healthy look to my skin. It has the perfect balance of the silicone and almost moisturizer feel. Holy Grail for me at the moment. It is expensive, but its worth the price. A little goes a long way.

I tried this product after hearing Nicole Guirrero rave about on YouTube.This product is tinted so it blends so well without applying a foundation.It makes the pores much less visible and it is non-greasy.I love it!
