I'm used to making my own icing for cakes and cupcakes but decided to try the ready made Duncan Hines Icing just for the fun of it. I found it too sweet for my liking but it did manage to spread easily. I guess if you're in a pinch, this is a good alternative, but I won't be buying it on a regular basis. I also noticed that the icing hardened quickly instead of remaining moist, I'm not sure if I got a bad batch or if this is common with such a product.

Pretty good icing, great if you dont have time to make your own, and cheap and easy.. some of the flavours are way to sweet though, the butter cream one is great though

These icings are wonderful when you do not have time to make your own. I find they are easy to spread and taste pretty good for a shelf bought product. I like how they come in many different flavours!

I usually make homemade icing. When I feel lazy and want a great tasting alternative. I always go for Duncan Hines icings. I've tried most of the flavors and all were delicious and creamy. I highly recommend!

Duncan Hines Icing is a family favorite in my home.
it tastes so rich and creamy. We use it to frost birthday cakes, cupcakes and any other baked goods that require a good thick icing. We add a few drops of food colouring to the icing for decorating.
Almost as good as homemade.

I use these different flavors of icings when I don't have time to make homemade ones. Some of them are a bit too sweet, but the chocolate or chocolate fudge is awesome.

Spreads easily, good consistency, a little bit too sweet.

I purchased a Duncan Hines icing for my daughter who wanted to try it out. I was surprised by the taste. It doesn't taste like my homemade icing but it was good and easy to spread. Not too sweet either.

Really good quality icing and super affordable. Love the flavors but mostly like french vanilla. Use this on cup cakes mostly now.

I find this icing is too sweet, however it's easy for kids to use, spreads easily & not clumpy. Flavour is nice but way to sweet. But I would still recommend.
