Don't waste your money

I saved up for a Dyson for a while. I thought for the price it must be the best vacuum brand out there. I love great suction power. I have a cat and cat hair makes me crazy. While the vacuum is ok for hard surfaces such as hardwood floors and the pet attachment is ok for the couch, the beater bar portion for the carpet sucks. Not in a good way. It just doesn't get the dirt up. It kind of glides over the carpet. I expected much more.
