100% OF CHICKS DIG IT
We had an in-store credit with the Brick and we needed to replace our couch purchased from there. Since none of the couches we looked at would fit through our doors we decided to buy another Dyson. They had four on display and we went with the V6 Slim. At first I was taken back by the running time after a full charge and had questions about the battery life. 20 minutes on regular power and 6 minutes on high power. Yes, I scratched my head. I didn't get my answer from the sales rep, so I decided that it would be used for quick clean ups and stairs; make my decision on hands on use.
It's lighter than my Dyson Multi-floor model and gives your arms a little it of a pump because the motor and the canister is by the handle. The attachments are quick and easy to change and a press of a button to empty is easy. I love the flexibility it has to rotate and get into corners but the spinning brush will stop if it catches on anything. I can see how that's a great feature to avoid material from winding around the brush. I wouldn't use this on, let's say a rug that is more than a low pile rug. I have low pile rugs and a small lift in the fiber will make the brush stop spinning.
It's suction is great because at the press of a button, you can change the speeds. Higher the speed the faster the battery drain. The brush will not pick up anything bigger than a grain of rice and it will just shoot out of the other end towards your feet. To clean the canister is a bit tricky to take off the V6 Slim and you get that feeling you just might break off a major part to keep that canister in place.
It charges quickly, which is great, the "on the wall" option is great also because it's just lift and pull out. It's slim and out of the way. No cords to fumble with.
I enjoy the Dyson product since I got our first model and I can't see me purchasing anything by any other brand. The price is a hefty one but the quality makes up for it. Would I return it...no. I just know what it is capable of and use it for light work. Look up the product for other reviews and save the salesperson's lack of knowledge even when he says "they were trained on the product".
