As someone who works a full time job and lives somewhat paycheck to paycheck it is so important to save money wherever I can. Well with Ebates it allows me to earn cash back on purchases I make online. I love to use it for pretty much everything and they have so many different online stores to purchase from. It is especially useful during this holiday season since I know a lot of people aren't going to want to be out at the stores because of the mass amounts of people. So why not use a website that you can shop from the comfort of your home in pajamas all while earning money back for your purchases.

When my friend first referred this site to me I was interested in the idea of getting cash back for things I already buy (and I do buy a lot online). My first cheque ended up being almost $20 in a month, though that was also because I referred my sister and since then I haven't really been too pleased with how much I've been getting back. I still do use it every time, and I do appreciate having some cashback rather than none, but I definitely think that the cashback amounts could be higher since using coupons nets me more back in the end. Why bother with online shopping for pennies when I can save dollars by shopping in store? I'm glad that I can now redeem in Amazon gift cards, but the cash back amount I get still makes it a bit of a pointless venture. I hope things will get better in the future otherwise I'll be using other methods of getting cashback.

It is a nice incentive when I am already focused on purchasing something online. The rewards are minimal, but can add up with enough purchases. The customer service is prompt and efficient - if I find that there were discrepancies on my account, they do check and solve my problem within a day or two.

Love love love using ebates for my online shopping. If I'm going to be shopping anyway, I might as well click through ebates and get cash back. I've used it for everything from booking vacations and hotels to beauty supplies, clothing and health supplies.

Ebates is a great website for those who do online shopping. If you go to ebates first and let this website direct you to your shopping site, ie: Amazon, Walmart, Groupon etc, then they credit your account a percentage of your purchase. Twice a year, ebates will mail you a cheque for your account credit amount. It's a nice surprise to receive the cheque when you are least expecting it.

Ebates is a US based rebates company. You make a purchase from a list of online stores through "tickets" opened for you. There are Canadian stores and the rest are US. It works by giving you a cash rebate based on a percentage of your purchase. It pays after three or more months.

I used Ebates for many months and it was running smoothly with the small rebate amounts. However, when I purchased printer toner with a 32% rebate, Ebates did not pay because it said I did not use their system. Ebates would not provide the rebate even though I had "tickets" opened for the date of purchase. I was not impressed.

I have stopped using Ebates because of this problem. I would not have ordered the toner if it had not been for the 32% rebate. I have not received a reply to an email send over a week ago to Ebates customer service telling of my displeasure with their system. Ebates was however quick to reply that I was not entitled to a rebate.
