I'm a bit of a sucker for pretty lights and this one has a great variety of modes. You can have the stars and a crescent moon in yellow, green, blue, red or you can have any combination on at the same time with a staggered overlap so they don't sit directly on top of one another. With all of them on, there's a ton of stars/light projected onto the roof/walls for the most visually stunning effect. However, if you want a subtler effect you can easily put on one or two.

There's also a button to make it rotate that can be used with any of these. My favourite feature of this is one that I haven't seen on others, the ability to use either a power cable or a battery. This means you can set it up in the ideal spot without worrying about proximity to a plug socket, or easily switch to power if you prefer.

The projection is really nice, it's not blurry or overly sharp and creates a nice soothing light effect. Would be great as a kids nightlight, but I also feel like having all the colors on and the rotation makes a great budget party option too! It's very easy to use and has sturdy construction.

There's also an overlay that can be placed over the lamp to stop it from projecting and make it just a light, so really you can do anything you want with this one, I just love the sheer amount of choices!
