Ok brushes
I had mixed feelings about this product. It was pretty high-quality and affordable. It was convenient because all your tops are right there. They lasted a pretty long time. When I first bought them a lot of the little hairs fell out; however, it didn't effect the use of the brushes. Overall, I would recommend them if your looking for something affordable, but if you're a beauty guru this isn't the best option.
I bought this set because I wanted to replace some old brushes in my collection, and these were well-priced and cruelty-free. Unfortunately, these aren't that great. The best one is probably the blush brush, which I use more often with powder than anything else. The eye shading brush is pretty average, the angled liner brush is much too thick and hard to use with eyeliner -- it doesn't even fill in brows that well -- and the concealer brush is rough and spreads product unevenly. Even the lash and brow comb is subpar. If you want cheap brushes that are cruelty-free and more effective, go for something from Real Techniques.
I bought this set at Target when it was first open and still have and use 4 of them. The angled brush I couldn't live without for my brows. Wish I hadn't lost my foundation brush. I love my eye shadow brush. Wish I cpuld but it again as the blush brush is starting to not come as clean as I'd like and just feels like there's buildup. This is a great set for beginners or people that dont have $40+to spend per brush.
These brushes are a great inexpensive brush. I had they for many years and they just recently started to fall apart on me. They are very soft for the price of them. So for someone first starting to use make up, this is a great starter kit.
These brushes are great!! I have used these brushes for a number of years and keep coming back to them. They are widely available in drug stores and super centers making purchase easy. The brush quality is surprisingly high for the low price. I would defiantly keep these in my arsenal!!
I love these bamboo brushes! I've went through so many makeup brushes in my life and this by far, is my favorite. To clean them, I use Johnson&Johnson;baby shampoo with lukewarm water. Gently swish them around and I lay them on a clean hand towel to dry. Shake off the excess water.
In this package you get a blush brush, and eyeshadow brush, a concealer brush, an angled brush and a eyebrow brush. For the price the brushes are really great quality, especially because they are ecofriendly. The brush bristles are really soft and are easy to blend with. The picture does not show the right five piece set.
This brush set comes with 4 brushes - a concealer brush, a blending brush, a powder brush, and a kabuki brush - with a carrying case. These are the perfect tools to bring in your purse because they are the perfect travel size and does not occupy too much space. The handles are short and are made of bamboo which feels nice to hold on to and allows for a good grip. The handles being short allows you to get really close to the mirror without the handle getting in the way.
What I really love about these brushes is the quality. They are really soft and well made. The bristles did not shed nor fade in colour even after multiple washes. The ferrules have stayed tight and have not become loose. Each of the brushes I've found to be very useful. The concealer brush is dense and great for applying concealer under the eye because of its small width and tapered end. It allows you to really get into the inner corners. The blending brush is the one I reach for the most and works really well for blending out harsh eye-shadow lines. The powder brush, although small is quite dense and great for packing on powders and blushes. It also works well at contouring the cheekbones. The kabuki brush is also great for applying powder.
A complaint people might have about these brushes is the size. They are smaller than regular brushes but they are intended to be travel sizes. I actually like that they are smaller because it's not too bulky to bring in your purse. The price is around $13 - a reasonable price for 4 good quality drug-store brushes.
VERDICT: This product is a buy.
