Great foundation blending sponge

This sponge is a very close dupe to a more popular brand that is raved about. The texture is very soft and bouncy. It swells up a lot when water is applied. The shape is nice for application of makeup as the flat side can be used for contouring while the rounded side can be used for blending. It blends foundation seamlessly as well.

Great bang for your buck

I bought this about two months ago but u got the dark green limited edition one. It works really well and it's really cheap for $5.99. the only thing is that I've only owned it for a couple months and bits of the sponge are tearing already so the quality really is not made to last. It's still a great sponge for the price. I think if you're careful with using it and gentle with use then you can really preserve the longevity of the product

Works great, but fell apart

I picked up the regular large green sponge at Winners for $5.99 after I had heard that it was comparable or better than the Real Techniques and Beauty Blender brand sponges. It worked really great! I like how the side is so flat and wide because it allows me to blend my foundation so much faster. It is very soft and easy to use. However, I think it is too soft because after only using it about 5 times a huge chunk ripped out of it while washing it. It also has tiny tears on the other side of it. I have had RT sponges last more than 6 months with no ripping or tearing (using the same washing process). It is very unfortunate because I was enjoying the blender but it will be too expensive to be constantly replacing it if it breaks so easily.

Great coverage!

A great makeup sponge is necessary in my makeup routine. A makeup brush or silicone sponge will NOT do it for me when applying liquid foundation – it always turns out streaky or too heavy. I’ve been using the Beauty Blender for years because of how soft and bouncy it is, and how well my makeup looks. Harder sponges have always turned me off because they didn’t seem to blend out my makeup as well. This sponge has honestly made me realize what I’ve been missing.

Now, being a Beauty Blender lover, I was skeptical how these would work since they felt a lot more firm. I’m surprised to say, I might actually like these better than the Beauty Blender…!!!!

I use both of these sponges wet, to help blend out nicer (in my opinion). Both sponges have a rounded base for blending, a flat edge for covering larger areas, and a wedge-tip to help in hard to reach areas and for precise definition (think baking!). They are firmer than other sponges, but I’ve noticed they don’t soak up as much product and actually give off a better application. My skin still looks natural and the foundation doesn’t look caked on. I definitely recommend these makeup sponges, and I will definitely be purchasing these once they run it’s course.
