This would be awesome for someone who doesn't have a tonne of makeup, but if you do already have lots you most likely have all of these things in your collection. The eyeshadow is pigmented and a nice mix of mattes and glitters. The eye primer is the bomb. The brush is useful but not the best. I bought this for myself but ended up giving it to my mom and she uses it everyday (she doesn't follow the instructions to do a smokey eye everyday, but just uses the lighter colours and sheers out the darker ones).

I simply adore Elf's products and this is definitely one of them. Although I don't tend to be one to wear darker makeup often, I do love busting out this palette when I do. It's step by step guide is helpful for those who've never done their makeup this way, but I definitely recommend checking out a few videos to perfect it. The eyeshadows themselves are great to use separately as well, in other looks. The downside is they do tend to have a 'sparkle' to them so for those matte loving fanatics, this is not for you.

I received this as a stocking stuffer last Christmas and I really love it. The shadow gives excellent coverage for a low cost make up and the colours are very pretty! I didn't believe my mom when she said she got it at Giant Tiger. I would absolutely recommend picking one up if you see it. It even gives you the tutorial of how to create the smokey eye in step by step.
