I bought the smaller palette because I wasn't sure about the the big normal one, I wanted to try it out first.

The shadows aren't overly pigmented, but are easily buildable and today I dabbed my brush in some water and then the shadow, by doing this I got a darker look.

The shades compliment each other and it takes little effort to blend together, for this reason I think this palette would be perfect for a beginner.

They are great staple shades and a cute smaller compact palette thats great for traveling as well!
