Great!
I love the cream liners. They come with the perfect brush for the product too! They are creamy and long lasting. The brush works well and the liner stays on all day. Great price too!
Great for the price
I didn't have super high hopes for this liner, as it's pretty cheap. But the reviews were consistently good, so I thought 'why not give it a go?' It's worth more than the price, but not a spectacular product. The eye liner gel goes on smoothly and is pigmented well. It stays on pretty well, and doesn't smudge. My one gripe about it is the brush it comes with! It's TERRIBLE. It was ok the first time I applied it, but once there was already eye liner on it, it got hard and wasn't functional the second time around.
Not good
I had high hopes that this product would be good and could be a dupe to substitute my other gel liners. Unfortunately it’s not good. The formula is crumbly and does not apply smoothly. Don’t waste any money on this.
Sad
The first time I used this liner I loved it. It went on smooth and super black. Lasted all day..was great! Went to use it a week later and it was starting to dry out already and I just couldn't get it to work proper... it was flaky on my eye after an hour.. wouldnt buy again
Naw.
Bought this product thinking it would be good because every other elf product I’ve purchased has blown me through the roof. But this eye liner is really crappy, it’s not very thick, so it goes on terribly and you have to add a couple coats for it to look black, otherwise I can see my skin through it. Definitely don’t recommend this product. I’ve used it once and never touched it again.
There's Better Products Out There
In terms of affordable cream eyeliner, for the price it is a decent product. The brush that i comes with is very cheap and I found that when trying to apply more eyeliner to darken the line, the brush ended up actually removing the eyeliner I had previous applied. This can easily be solved by purchasing an alternative brush though. Another downside to the product is that it is not the most pigmented. When applied it, it appeared to be almost grey and you have to keep going over it to get a nice clean black line. I find that the negative attributes outweigh the benefits and I'd rather spend double the price and get a better product.
Still kind of unsure about this product
I have very mixed feelings about the product, as my experiences have varied. I purchased this very shade at WalMart, tried to use it once, and found that it applied very streaky. Months lather, E.L.F sent me the same one for free as part of something I ordered online, so I tried it again, and it applied perfectly! Perhaps it doesn't have a long shelf-life, and the one I purchased in WalMart was too old? Regardless, for the price, I'd say it's worth a shot!
Le prix est très bas par contre il ne vaut pas la peine il ne dire pas très longtemps et est plus gros que brun il devient rapidement sèche. Par contre, la pointe est fine et il glisse bien donc facile à utiliser mais pas très longtemps
I was excited to get this eyeliner but when I tried it, I realized it wasn't very pigmented and for a beginner at eyeliner like me, you don't get much control with the small angled brush that e.l.f provides you. Perhaps if I used a smaller and longer brush, I would more easily achieve a precise line. And there is also the fear of it drying out if you don't use it often.
I got e.l.f. Cream Eyeliner in black from London Drugs. It wasn't particularly expensive, and I'm pretty sure I've spent more on eye liner pencils. I needed something fast as my eyeliner felt had run out. I tried using the angle brush that came with it but it didn't have the precision I wanted. I switched to a liner brush and it worked perfectly! It goes on really easily with lovely sharp lines. It's been 2 years and I've never gone back to eyeliner felts or pencils. 10/10.
