I love Elf products- although the brushes could be a little better, for the price you pay you get above what you pay for
This brush is really worth buying. The brush doesn't leave little brush hairs while using it.It blends everything very well. And the price is great.
I think this is a good basic foundation brush. It can be streaky sometimes with foundation, but after blending, its fine. I haven't had issues with shedding or the brush breaking.
elf has recently updated their brushes with new synthetic bristles. The new one is similar, but more precise and smaller, which makes it less streaky.
I bought this brush and a few others from the elf essential line when i first got into makeup.
i didn't like it as a foundation brush because it was a bit too stiff and i had to blend the product with my fingers instead. I did find ways to use it after a while, used it to apply liquid concealer or put on my Garnier moisturizer.
so it just depends on what you use it for i guess. ♥
If you're just starting to buy makeup brushes, this one is great. While it doesn't have TONS of bristles like more expensive foundation brushes, it has enough to get the job done. They feel soft, not scratchy, and the brush has stood up to repeated washings without any problems. It's a really good brush, worth way more than the $1 you pay. No, it doesn't look super fancy, but it's a good basic brush. I would absolutely repurchase it. I also like using this brush to pat on cream blush!
