So lovely

I purchased the Tea Rose shade as I was looking for a dusty pink lip color to wear daily. I love this color and the formula is quite creamy. I still can't believe how good of a price this was - $4! It is a tad drying (as are many matte lipsticks), which is why I wear a thin layer of lip balm underneath, but that doesn't bother me. The lasting power on this lipstick is pretty impressive for the price, I've worn it for about 4-6 hours and it lasted well.

My go to!

These Matt lipsticks are my go to I love how they look on me the colors a little later from with the box shows but I love them I have three in my purse always because I just love them so much I’ll definitely be able to keep purchasing them.

Not My Favourite

I had high hopes for this product, because I usually love elf! Unfortunately, this lipstick wasn't my favourite, and here's why: It comes off so easily. Accidentally touching my face or even taking a sip of water isn't okay with this lipstick. I wish it was more long lasting! I also don't like the pigmentation. The shades I have tried are Rich Red and Cranberry. The red is so bright, and so primary. I'm sorry to say that it reminds me a lot of clown makeup... Not what I was going for. Cranberry is slightly better but it's still such a "crayola colour". Like, you could find a crayon in the 12 pack that is the same colour. It's hard to pinpoint exactly why they look so much like children's art supplies, but it definitely brings down the sophistication. I wish the shades were more sophisticated and creative. Sorry to leave a bad review, but it had to be done.

Super affordable for high-end quality!

I bought e.l.f.'s matte lip colour in Wine from Rexall for only $4-5 including tax. At that price I wasn't expecting anything groundbreaking, but it exceeded my expectations in every way. The formula is extremely pigmented and goes on your lips very easily. The packaging has a precise pointed tip that slightly smaller than a crayon and allows for accurate application. After blotting the colour, I find that it doesn't bleed or transfer onto your teeth. It is also very long-lasting, and only really needs to be retouched after eating. In fact, the colour stayed on my lips even after eating more so than my other lipsticks that I bought at quadruple the price! Even though it is a matte colour, it doesn't dry my lips out like other matte lip colours do. I would definitely recommend this product and would love to try some of the other shades available!

I love elf products because theyre so cheap and well made.I have the shade natural and its really nice although my crayon did snap im not sure if this was because of me or the product but i didn't have any other issue with it.

Very silky; I want more colours!

This was sent to me as a free gift in an order that I made online at the e.l.f website. I was given the colour Tea Rose, which is pretty, but a little too washed out for my complexion. However, I LOVE the formula. It is very silky, applies nicely and evenly, and while it's not as longlasting as other matte lipsticks, you can't beat e.l.f's super competitive prices! I will definitely be looking into more colours in this line in the future.

The Elf Matte Lip Colors are some of my favorite lipsticks of all time. The shades "Tea Rose" and "Praline" are especially beautiful. Tea Rose is a mauve-pink color and praline is a rosy-brown shade. What I love the most about these lipsticks is that they are slim, so it's easy to line your lips and fill them in. The color is pigmented and goes on smooth. For 3 dollars a lipstick, it's amazing quality. I purchase them regularly.

Love love love! And so does my 7 year old! Defintely not matte but its so easy to apply kids can do it! It not only is an easy applicator but the pigment is also wonderful!

Love Elf products, very affordable. They always have promotions on the website. I have two different colors, natural and tea rose. These are light matte colors. They go on nice and last long. I like that is a pencil with a sharpener.
Works just as good as other brands.
Highly recommended.

For the price you really can't go wrong. It doesn't last super long but it also doesn't slip all over your face. It's super easy to reapply and doesn't cake up when you do, even if you don't reapply a nice tint is left on your lips.
