ELF has come a long way from dollar store bins! The single shadows are beautiful, with great colors and easy application. The color is very buildable so even if the initial color payoff isn't great on some of the shades, you can get there. I recommend using a primer under them for the best color and to help them stay put longer, as they do have a tendency to crease and shift a bit as the day goes on. Love the container, it's a NARS lookalike style that makes your $3.00 shadow look like high-end cosmetics! You also get a huge amount, so it's well worth the money. Formulated without parabens, which is a huge plus. The current colors available are mostly muted neutrals, so I really wish they would put out more brights, rich darks, and "extreme" colors like the blue in the photo (they don't have that color anymore).
