the best quality!
I was actually mad when I found this primer! It works so well for a fraction of the cost of what I've been paying for other primers that do half the job and I've spent sooo much money on them! Had I known this was out there I would have saved my money! it works so well and gets rid of any redness or discoloration! It's under 10.00 and you can find it in the make up section at wal-mart! GO!
Great drugstore find
This is pretty similar to Smashbox Photo Finish. Same consistency. As for tone correcting, I do not see any change in my tone. So if I was going to repurchase, I would just get whichever one is available. It does a pretty good keeping my foundation in place. For the cheap price, you cant go wrong with it.
Not enough and not effective
I bought this at Walmart for around $8. And for it being E.L.F i expected it to help with my redness especially after hearing that it could dupe for higher end products but sadly I was disappointed. It helped with the longevity of my makeup and it didn't pill. But for my redness from my acne and hyperpigmentation it didn't do much at all.
I've been using this primer in my everyday makeup routine because I have a lot of redness/discoloration. Usually without a color adjusting primer my redness always shows through. While I don't find this the absolute best color adjusting primer, it's not horrible. If you need something well priced, I would give it a shot. Some redness comes through but not half as much as not using anything at all. Not toooo bad but there are definitely better ones on the market.
I really like this because this is super afforadable and work beautifully like smashbox primer so i love it. I really recommend to anyone . The makeup last for the whole day.
Elf is usually very well priced, as this was. I love primers, and this with the added benefit of toning redness I thought would be great for me. Ahhh nothing special. It glided on petal smooth but I noticed no Change in my red areas. It also had a very strange fragrance, which didn't appeal to me at all. I would not repurchase, better primers out there!
This product is just ok. I have pretty red skin, so the fact that it's supposed to be tone adjusting was really appealing to me. However, I didn't find it helped with my red skin at all. The product was pretty smooth and the price is really good, but I wouldn't say it did a whole lot of anything. I wouldn't say it extended the wear time of my makeup or even gave a smoother look. I guess if you're looking for something really inexpensive, this isn't a terrible option.
YES! this primer is worth its value. It glides on smoothly without building up on your skin. Its hydrating without a greasy feel. Minimizes pores and provides a great layer between your skin and the makeup for application.
I have heard much about this product from beauty vloggers and since it was such a low price decided to try it. I live in a very dry climate, which I think is why it didn't work as well for me as the vloggers. They rave about how it fills in pores and evens skin tone. However, for me, it just caked my foundation. It also contains silicone which isn't helpful for dry skin. So, while it didn't work for me, I am sure it works well for others. If you live in a humid climate, are concerned about pores and uneven tone, please give it a try. Especially if you have normal to oily skin. I have to say I was pumped about it and totally bummed it wasn't fabulous for me. C'est la vie. Luckily it is one of the cheapest beauty products I have ever purchased. I am impressed with the Elf line. I guess it is back to finding a great primer again. :-(
Just like every other E.L.F Product this gets an amazing rating for me, I use this as well as many other products in my daily makeup routine. I also use it on most clients before applying foundation or concealer. This is hands down my favorite primer as it leaves your skin so soft and leaves the surface looking even.
