Elf is usually very well priced, as this was. I love primers, and this with the added benefit of toning redness I thought would be great for me. Ahhh nothing special. It glided on petal smooth but I noticed no Change in my red areas. It also had a very strange fragrance, which didn't appeal to me at all. I would not repurchase, better primers out there!
This product is just ok. I have pretty red skin, so the fact that it's supposed to be tone adjusting was really appealing to me. However, I didn't find it helped with my red skin at all. The product was pretty smooth and the price is really good, but I wouldn't say it did a whole lot of anything. I wouldn't say it extended the wear time of my makeup or even gave a smoother look. I guess if you're looking for something really inexpensive, this isn't a terrible option.
I have heard much about this product from beauty vloggers and since it was such a low price decided to try it. I live in a very dry climate, which I think is why it didn't work as well for me as the vloggers. They rave about how it fills in pores and evens skin tone. However, for me, it just caked my foundation. It also contains silicone which isn't helpful for dry skin. So, while it didn't work for me, I am sure it works well for others. If you live in a humid climate, are concerned about pores and uneven tone, please give it a try. Especially if you have normal to oily skin. I have to say I was pumped about it and totally bummed it wasn't fabulous for me. C'est la vie. Luckily it is one of the cheapest beauty products I have ever purchased. I am impressed with the Elf line. I guess it is back to finding a great primer again. :-(
