90% OF CHICKS DIG IT
So I ordered this online because I had heard so many rave reviews about this lip scrub. The price was of course excellent. When I tried it first, it took awhile to actually get to the scrub part and then I found the scrub very abrasive and it started hurting. I stopped using it unfortunately. The cap of the product is also very flimsy and now does not stay closed on its packaging.
Bought this at Walmarts a couple of weeks ago. Walmarts just started to carry E.L.F. products they are a very good price. This efoiliate works very good as long as you use it gently. Removes your dry skin, and leaves your
lips soft.
Now that my local Walmart is FINALLY carrying ELF Cosmetics, I was able to pick this up today. I LOVE this lip scrub. It is not gentle by any means, so don't expect it to baby your lips. It does exactly what it claims by removing every trace of dead skin or flakiness. It smells like coffee and vanilla to me, which is awesome and it leaves my lips incredibly smooth and baby soft. This is just a miracle in a tube at an amazing price.
I like this okay, but lip scrubs in jars are better. The tip of this is super hard and stiff and it hurts to rub this on your lips. I find it exfoliated okayish... but overall I found this was cheap and could have been made better. I much prefer lip scrubs that you put on the end of your finger and rub on your lips to a stick version..
I have herd such high hype about this lip exfoliator about the effectiveness so I decided to try it for myself. And ouch! It's so extremely painful! Once it gets down to the thicker sugar parts, it becomes so rough and instead of scraping off dead skin on my lips, it's scratching it. I have no idea how other people have had such great results with it.
SOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOD! this product is $3 and so worth it. When you first use it your confused cause its smooth but you just have to get down a layer to the scrub. The reason that its smooth at first is because its a scrub with a lip balm mixed so you dont have to use two steps. Its great.
I love that this lip scrub is in stick form, however it's not the best. Some of the sugar is too large of pieces to do anything and just get stuck all over your lips, mixed in with the dead skin. I always have to wipe it off with a cloth. I prefer the lip scrub from Lush.
If you can find E.L.F. lip exfoliator - buy it! It's cheap, simple, and effective. I realize it's mainly lip balm and sugar to scrub away dead skin but it makes a huge difference.
I really like this lip exfoliator for the fact that it is conveniant. It is not as good as a sugar lip scrub, but it is really close. I like it because you can bring it with you and you don't have the risk to spill it everywhere in your makeup bag. It will just smoosh, but will still be in one piece because there is a sort of weird film that keeps the grains together. (I smooshed mine and was really sad, but I still use the remaining product I have, because I love this thing.)
My lips definitely get dry and cracked, especially during the winter months ,my friend was kind enough to buy me this wonderful product for my birthday and I have been using it ever since ,easy to use and my lips are soft and hydrated .People always think to exfoliate their skin while ignoring their lips and I think its so important because without smooth looking lips you will not be able to have smooth looking lipstick
