This is an okay brush cleaner, if you use it every single day.
I found that it was hard to get some of the brushes completely clean, the brushes that had a lot of caked on make up were difficult, but the brushes that were only used for a few days came completely clean. It has a very strong perfumy scent, which didn't bother me at all, but I can see it bothering someone that is sensitive. The scent also lingers for about a day or two.
I am on the fence whether I will repurchase this again, I don't have time to clean my brushes every single day.

It is not the best product out there but it is definitely a good product for a quick and easy clean. I'm usually busy and having the little spray bottle with me makes it easier to get the brush a quick clean and go. It's super affordable ($3) and smells pleasant as well. I would recommend it for anyone that needs a small, travel size brush cleaner but will not recommend using it daily instead of giving your brushes a thorough wash once every week (or 2, depending on your schedules). As a side note, try to spray the paper towel and the brush for a better clean or avoid using paper towel altogether and substitute with a clean towel.

I would say that this product is OK, at best. After a few months of intermittent use, I really can't say if this cleaner is working. I can definitely smell it (the formula is scented), but I don't notice that my brush is really "clean". I actually think that I leaves behind a slight residue.
