Great quality at dirt cheap prices

I was really surprised about the staying power of this one. I love the Maybelline gel eyeliner pot in brown for my lower lash line, but this E.L.F. one actually seems to last a little longer. It doesn't seem to fade even at the end of a long day and may only require a slight touch up to carry it over to a night out. For the price you're paying for this, you really can't complain!

I really wanted to like this product, I really did.

Unfortunately, it was probably one of the most difficult eyeliners I've ever worked with. I used the correct eyeliner brush that came with the little eyeliner pot, but the product was very dry and extremely difficult to even get onto the brush, and even MORE difficult to attempt to apply to lash line.

It does not spread in a clean line, it tends to clump and smudge.

I realize that using eyeliner from a pot takes experience, but I actually have that experience and it was still awful.

The only plus side to this product for me was that it was a free gift, and if I really need a dark base for a darker shadow, I can first smudge this product over my lid as a primer. But as a liner? No go. Terrible.

I am in LOVE with this eyeliner! It is so easy to use yet looks like a professional did it. I bought the longer e.l.f. eyeliner brush but the brush that comes with it is awesome too. The lines are clean and intense black which I love! It doesn't budge all day and it's easy to touch up mistakes with a qtip and makeup remover. I will never go back to pencil liner again. And I can't believe the quality of this product for the price! I'm in love!
