My daughter in law gave me a basket for Christmas with lots of random goodies inside, one of the treasures was a bottle of ELF nail polish.

I love the color and the tiny bottle, since the wand and brush are smaller, its actually easier to work with. She got my purple, which is my favorite color, it applies nicely and is not thin. I only needed one coat, but applied two out of habit. I really like the polish, its nothing spectacular, it's like a regular bottle of Avon, doesn't chip easily, but you will have to do some touch ups after 7-10 days. Its easy to take off as well, its a darker color and I was pleased that it didn't bleed when I applied the remover.
I plan to buy some for myself this summer so I have a few to play around with.

For the price of this polish, it's pretty good. Actually, I think it stays on longer than most of my Essie colours. The only downside is that I find these separate quicker than most other polishes, and the formula is kind of thick but not opaque with one coat.

e.l.f products are hit and miss at times. I have so many of their products that I love. Their nail polish is a good price-usually around $1 where I live. Some do start chipping faster, while some don't.

This is a great product if you're looking for a safer nail polish. It's also vegan and cruelty free. It's comes in a very wide selection of colours, and it is only $2! The colours I tried are quite opaque and only require 1.5 coats. It's not the longest wearing, but it lasts about two or three days without chipping. The formula is medium consistency so it won't slide around, but it also doesn't become unbearable to work with. They're so affordable, I find myself picking one up with almost every online order! Great when you can catch it on sale for $1 too :)
