I don't find it does anything?

Ok let me start off by saying i'm not a makeup guru but everyone always says that primer is the best and a must need and I've heard people rave about Elf so I figured i'd give them a try. It was $9 for a small bottle, that does nothing but moisturizer my face a little bit before I put coverup. Doesn't make my coverup look better or hold it on longer. Not sure why everyone loves it so much
