I started using this product last summer. I had been using only powder mineral makeup for the longest time, because I don't like foundation but I noticed that since Im in my forties now, this left my skin looking papery and dry/dull. When I tried this product I was amazed. It made my skin dewy without being shiny or artificial. It is very lightweight with a built in sunscreen and it blends easily with a sponge. I do sometimes use a little powder o n the shiny areas of my face but it is really not necessary. When it is getting low in the tube always shake it to mix the sunscreen and colour ingredients. Because it is a moisturizer too, it prevents dryness and leaves my skin hydrated and healthy looking. I have tried other tinted moisturizers since I bought this last year, but in the end I bought this one again. EA gives such great gifts with purchase too.
I've used lots of different tinted moisturizers this one by far is the best one. It goes on smooth and it actually stays on all day. The color for my fair skin is Light #2 and usually they are orange, this one is a nice color. I would recommend this to all my friends. Great product.
I have tried endless amounts of tinted moisturizers looking for one that gave me the coverage that I needed, but the lightweight feel that I want. So far, the Elizabeth Arden Pure Finish Tinted Moisturizer has been the best one I've ever tried. This product has truly been my best friend this summer! My skin type is probably oily combination so I am always hesitant when it comes to trying new foundations and tinted moisturizers. However, this product is amazing! It covers up all my redness and blemishes but never feels heavy or like a foundation. I use this product with Elizabeth Arden's Flawless Finish Concealer and it works beautifully! The only suggestion that I have for you other ladies with combination skin is to set the tinted moisturizer with something mattifying. I personally use the FitMe compact powder from Maybelline.
I got this tinted moisturizer at a press event. To be honest I never wear foundation, it's just too heavy and my skin is too dry. If I want to add colour I use some bronzer mixed with pressed powder as I am rather fair and even a light bronzer makes me look like I have a dirty face. The Elizabeth Arden makeup artist convinced me to let her put this on, and slipped it in my bag. I kind of forgot she had and later that day a friend asked if I had been out in the sun and that my skin looked like it had just a bit of colour. I looked in the mirror, and really liked the way it looked and have been applying it every day. I get an oily forehead and it doesn't help with that, but I don't find it looks like it's sitting on top, it absorbs really well. I also like that it doesn't accentuate my dry spots. It's really light and easy to apply, I really don't put a lot on and it thins out well. I'd recommend it to anyone who isn't a fan of foundation but wants to add some colour and even out their skin.
I put "fugheddaboutit" but my real feeling is just "not for me".
I'm really not a big fan of this product. I have combination skin and it made me break out on my forehead after I used it for only a few days. The cream is too thick to use on oily or combination skin. Because it is so thick, it was also difficult to spread evenly.
I also found that it delivered a bit more than just a 'tint' of colour. It came out quite a lot darker than other tinted moisturizers so you really had to make sure it was spread evenly (which as I just mentioned is a little difficult). If you have a darker skin tone you might like this product for the luminescence, but it was not for me.
