I have been using the raspberry flavour all summer and have felt better in general. I use it once a day after my workout and have had more energy and have not felt dehydrated at all. I mix it into a glass of water . The taste is good and it's not too sweet or fake.
This is an amzing product!! Has a great taste, and helps the immune system stay intact! I've already purchased my emergen-c and use it every morning!! Defiantly a must try!!!
the store was out of my regular effervescent vitamin so I looked at this. I thought it was just vitamin c. I was delighted to see that it ALSO has the B vitamins I get in the other drink. Also magnesium and a few other trace elements. They also had a tropical flavour. I thought I would give it a try. I am so pleased that i did. It gave me energy and tasted great. I love the packets which make it portable. I always keep some in my purse so I can just add them to water when I need a boost. Definitely a keeper. I will be trying the different flavours too.
I got a free sample of this Emergen-C Drink Mix about a year ago and have been hooked on it ever since! It doesn't taste too bad, a bit drab but not offensive at all. When I feel my body getting tired or feel the first signs of a cold I will drink one and whatever I feel like I am coming down with just seems to disappear. It gives me a good boost of energy and makes me feel a lot better! It is actually quite an expensive drink but in my opinion the benefits out weigh the cost factor. I do recommend it for anyone who needs that extra boost of Vitamin C it certainly won't hurt anything!
First time I had one was in Hair School when a couple of us girls were hungover lol
I had no idea what it was when someone said the name. I thought they meant "Emergency", I was like, OMG you need to go to the emergency?
Anyway, they have tons of vit c, effervescent helps your tummy, anti oxidants. It took my hangover right away. I buy them usually just by the individual packet at 69 cents each. Good to have in your bag or cupboard. If you are feeling low on energy or just a little under the weather, mix up one of these in a tall glass of water and you will feel better.
Also, make sure you don't chug it back. drink is slowly.
I really like the taste of this and have used it in the past as a mix for vodka, but it is a bit expensive and vitamin C is always absorbed more effectively when consumed from natural food sources. Considering that just a medium-sized bell pepper contains over 250% of your daily recommended vit. C, supplements should be used as a last resort.
First of all, thumbs up for taste. I don't usually like anything orange flavour because it reminds me of the cold syrup I was forced to take whenever I had cold during the winter months. (yuk!) But this one was surprisingly pleasant. It was refreshing especially mixed with cold water and some ice cubes to give extra boost to my energy! Because I had a coupon for this product I bought this with a fairly good deal, but I am not sure if I would pay the regular price for this product. I drank my emergen-c super orange before I hit the gym and I think it did give me more energy than usual. Overall I would recommend this product.
I wanted to like this, I really did but it just didn't taste good at all. I generally like citrus flavoured things but no. Just no. It was oddly fizzy which I could live with but the taste was kind of watery. It was gross and I couldn't even drink the whole thing so I can only rate the effectiveness as poor since you don't get benefits from things you cannot even drink.
If I had spent the money this costs in stores on it, I would be really upset. Luckily I got this as a sample from a freebie site. Maybe their other flavors are better but this was gross.
I got it as a free sample, a regular drink mix, nothing special. As someone mentioned its overpriced. Just eat few raw peppers much cheaper and natural
These are convenient to take while traveling (as long as drinking water is available) since they are individually packaged in small pouches. The taste is nice and I feel like they do help prevent you from getting sick. However, they seem to be very expensive compared to other Vitamin C drink mix.
