eos cool mint LipBalm;
i liked the cool mint flavour
it wasn't strong as other chapsticks have a very strong mint flavour/ scent to the lip balm
EOS cool mint was subtle and light
it hydrated moderately,
I find doesn't work well on dry chapped lips, but works better to maintain hydration
Perhaps they are missing the mark with me as I am older? My teenage girls both love this stuff but I am not a fan. It seems to dray out my lips more than hydrate them and I need to re-apply constantly for my lips to feel moisturised. The shape is cute and the different flavours are great but I need a product with more lasting power than this to be happy as I don't have time to constantly re-apply.
Allow me to say first that I do NOT believe in spending close to four bucks on a glorified Chapstick! However.....I will buy it when it's on sale for two bucks, like I did with Eos. I wanted to know what all the rage was about. I bought the Cool Mint only for the sake that if I was going to buy something this highly priced, might as well go for one I would like.
What can I say? It's cute. The ball shape is original. Be prepared to use it at least 5 times a day if you live in dry climates or if you drink fluids consistently during the day. I had to make it serve a purpose by using it as a base for my colored lip gloss. This is where it really works for me. By itself - I can stick to a dollar lip balm. I don't see the hype other than it's organic, it's shaped in a ball, and the flavors/scents are cool.
Great packaging. Good to keep your lips in good condition but not to restore them after a they are chapped. Also taste and smells great.
I normally use Vaseline on my lips as I've found that most chap-sticks tend to make my lips more dry in the long run. EOS is great because it's made with all natural (read: no chemicals) ingredients that don't dry out my lips! Plus, the spherical packaging is unique and harder to lose in my purse!
I've tried to like these but they just don't do it for me. I like the feel of the mint balm on my lips but it doesn't leave them feeling soft for long. For the price of these I expect more. I do like the shape of them a lot, easy to find in an overstuffed purse.
My favourite lip gloss is discontinued and i thought this might replace it, but because it's so hard in texture it's hard to spread on enough to last overnight, which is generally when i wear colourless balm. Great taste, interesting package, but not very spreadable.
For all the hype about these, I do not love them. They are more pricey for a chapstick, and I find they almost dry my lips out more than moisturize! I find myself needing more and more, otherwise my lips get really dry.
Cute packaging and great scent, however not very moisturizing. Have to re apply product several times for it to be effective!
I have tried a few of these flavours, and the mint is the beat. That said, I don't find the formula to stay put very long, and it requires constant re-application. Does not last.
